Indictment.
That is the term heard increasingly from sources adjacent to the ongoing investigation into Hillary Clintons email scandal that apparently now places her at considerable risk of facing a very serious federal espionage charge.
The risk was great enough to require President Obama to come out publicly to warn off the investigation when during an interview he attempted downplay Mrs. Clintons confusion over federal classified information laws.
It was the very same tactic the president used to diminish the earlier IRS scandal and he now appears hopeful he can be just as successful in minimizing the damage to Hillary Clinton and thus, himself.
Rumors are now swirling that the FBI already has enough to implicate Mrs. Clinton in directly jeopardizing national security. What remains to be known is if that jeopardy was willful or merely negligent.
Both are capable of generating a recommendation from the FBI to the Justice Department that formal charges be brought against the former Obama Secretary of State and there has been a more recent flurry of speculation that such charges could be forthcoming within the next month or two.
That risk is said to be a primary motivating factor behind Bernie Sanders determination to stay in the race all the way to the Democrat convention this summer. And now with the Republican primary race having been conceded to Donald Trump, media focus will shift, at least in part, to the ongoing FBI investigation against Hillary Clinton.
If FBI Director James Comeys intent was to finalize the investigation after the primary election cycle had somewhat diminished, this would the time to do just that, and such timing now towers over the lame-duck presidency of Barack Obama and the scandal-plagued political aspirations of Hillary Clinton.
"Gross negligence with US National Security". That's not something that looks very good on the resume of a Presidential nominee, or potential one.
I mean, talk about a weak candidate, I'm starting to agree with the notion that the Democrats themselves will be the ones to show Hillary the door.
Just think of it— a phony like Hillary with nothing but a thin veneer of integrity, at best, going up against an incendiary like Trump!
I mean, it wouldn't be pretty, and it wouldn't be something that she could politically survive...
Surely the Democrats aren't this brazenly corrupt and/or stupid?
Vote Trump
Let’s hope the head of the FBI can stay safe.
Haven't heard much about him lately. We assume he's singing. Hope he has good security.
If the FBI can show that Satans Prom Queen traded secret information for cash then they might have a case for a charge of treason. But such a case needs to be air tight on a figure like PIAPS.
Here is a twist. Maybe they are delaying recommendations until after the election hoping for a Trump victory. That way Obama cannot pardon her.
I hope the charges are So severe with multiple felony indictments that Loretta Lynch can't just ignore it. She can lateral arabesque to a Grand Jury of Special Prosecutor but even with that, Hillary will be done as far as the election goes.
I want Justice to be Done. Leave Hillary out of it. If it was Mr. Smith, then we need to set the precedent that this type of behavior will not be tolerated and will be prosecuted. We're either a Nation of Laws, or We are Not.
I agree there are lots of pros and cons re the timing. Man o man. . I'll be so glad when November 9 is here. Fight like hell until then! . . and after! Resist!
I’m not sure if an indictment is the best thing. I think Bernie would be harder to beat in the general election than her.
I’m investing in Flying Pig Futures.
Bernie will be a lot easier to beat, IMHO. Running against a hard core socialist/communist even to the left of Hillary shouldn't be too hard to beat in America. Hillary has the woman card, adulation from the MSM and the entrenched dem/Clinton/Obama vote fraud machine.
>>>Im not sure if an indictment is the best thing. I think Bernie would be harder to beat in the general election than her<<<
Just think about that for a few minutes.
If I lapsed into a Coma when I was a teenager and awakened today, I would think we lose WWIII.

Fixed it.
And I'll lay money on it that Clinton and Huma were making money passing intel to the Muslim Brotherhood through that server. But we'll never hear about it because evil covers for evil for favors or money.
Yes, he can.
Ford pardoned Nixon before any charges had even been alleged.
This.
“What remains to be known is if that jeopardy was willful or merely negligent.”
The law makes no such distinction. Laws being obsolete things that old white men came up with, the security breach is automatic just placing it on her private server without regard to intent. Even if nobody ever saw or hacked it.
Where is that IT guy that set up the server? Is he singing like a canary?
**************************
Last I recall is that the FBI gave him immunity and he sang.
Then, a couple of weeks ago in front of a hearing in Congress he just pled the 5th Amendment.
Obama can pardon her right now. No need to wait for Comey or the DoJ.
I think he has copped the fifth, after having been given immunity.
I’d like to see Donald put charges against all of congress and the sc, for treason. None of them blinked an eye when an illegal alien muslime took the exec branch. None of them upheld their oaths to the Constitution.
Do you think she was selling classified secrets for personal enrichment?
Nah.
Benedict Clinton would never do such a thing.
