1) Blacks as a group are poor and live in the inner cities. When I was a poor financially struggling student with no car and living in the inner city there was no possible way I was going to visit a national park.

2) Visiting a national park is a cultural thing. One needed to be interested in going. Some cultural groups in the U.S. are more interested in travel and natural than others. It's that simple.

Some ethnic groups are more ADVENTUROUS, ENTERPRISING, & FEARLESS than other groups.

Went to several huge National Parks out west a few years back. Probably saw one black out there and zero hipsanics. Saw far more Asians and Indians (Dots) than expected.
