I believe the democrats want Trump to get the nomination. They are waiting for it and when he does they will bring forth the big guns and air all his dirty laundry. Many of his supporters will simply stay home come November.
Sadly this will lead to a democrat victory. Unless something (a miracle) can be pulled off by Cruz. I support Cruz and wish he could get the nomination. But I am a realist. Too many were won over by Trump’s loud mouth and rhetoric.
Trump has had months to study Hillary now and not everybody is this pessimistic.
“Trump has done liberal things” pales next to “Hillary says what does it matter to Benghazi etc.” She’s going to have her political head handed to her, and so will the Democrats in general.
Pure cattle feces.
What laundry does Trump have that hasn’t been on reality TV?
There are many who may not know of his various wives and such, but it has been public knowledge for a long time.
The miracle will be if Cruz can't pull that off because he has zero chance of beats Hillary. Did you notice the only place he gets more than 20% of the vote is in a caucus where the people have no say?
Let me try to understand this...
Trump is beating Crooze, and Crooze can beat Hillary.
But Trump can’t beat Hillary.
Yes, that makes perfect sense. /s
I cannot believe you are so tied to a loser that you cannot see what is going on with scruze and the GOPe.
Nobody cares about Trump’s “dirty laundry”, even if there is something that isn’t part of what we already know. With Trump, we see the man he’s become with 70 years of living a productive and adventuresome life. With the others, we have candidates who just keep reinventing themselves according to the most recent focus group or poll,
How well has the media made anything stick against trump? Is there anyone who doesn’t know trump has committed adultery, has a wife who posed nude, is very rich and other things democrats and conservatives consider vices ?
Too bad that the reality of the situation is that Cruz has won 4 actual elections so far this primary season. He came in 3rd place in 4 of the last 5 elections. Voters do not like Cruz enough to vote for him. Cruz consistently loses all the demographics he says he will win such as evangelicals, conservatives, etc. I think that if Cruz somehow managed to weasel his way into the nomination he would likely win less states in the general than his new buddy Romney did in 2012. I think Cruz as nominee would be a disaster.
That statement is in such diametric opposition to the actual facts that it's laughable.
Ted Cruz is the party's savior?
It's unfortunate when people let their hysterical bias overcome reason and logic.
And, nice job with the "concern troll" routine. Just admit that you're "NeverTrump" and be done with it.
Vote Trump
Of course they will.
But which potential Republican nominee won't they do that for?
Many of his supporters will simply stay home come November.
Some will.
Many more are so embittered about what the Uniparty has been doing to them for a generation they'll crawl over broken glass to vote Trump.
What a joke this is. Trump has been under attack from all sides for many months with the most vile and evil tales against him. Trump only gets stronger as the increased flak shows he is over the target.
He’s totally lost the Pro-Life conservatives.
My mother and I were talking last night, and she told me that the prevailing feeling at least among pro-life people in our area is “If it’s Trump vs Hilary for the nomination, I’m not voting for President. I’ll vote for the other races but I’m leaving President blank.”
I used to be a Cruz supporter, but my doubts began to grow months ago. I’ve said numerous times that I’d vote for Cruz or Trump if either were to win the nomination. However, at that time I considered Cruz a principled conservative and a constitutional purist, which is no longer the case. I’ve also said that, while Trump is a populist (and I don’t mean that in the pejorative sense), he is and always has been a patriot. At this point in our history, that’s good enough for me.
