I agree.. anyone with common sense knows at this point it is all over.. only those emotionally invested in the vote can be unable to see it is over...

In 2012 it was right around this stage of the campaign that Gingrich and Santorum threw in the towel.

Let's hope Cruz has the good sense to do the same after losing every primary today.

I was on Cruz’s email list and click on the tab to be eliminated from the list... as I did so “JEB2016 RENTAL LIST” popped up.

Cruz is the biggest phoney ever. Everything about the guy is total BS. He isnt a conservative, he’s a con artist. He has proven to be a sleazy snake of the lowest order.
By any measure Hillary is a better man than Cruz!

I think it was Mark Twain who said it was easier to fool someone than to convince them they’ve been fooled.

I think low IQ and lack of education is prime reason. You can’t reason with them.

Wow, Jenny, you must be so intelligent and educated to be a Trump supporter. I bet it must make you feel really good to know how much smarter and better educated you are than all those stupid Cruz supporters. By the way, I have been a Cruz supporter for most of this campaign. I have an advanced degree in law (with honors) and the last time I had to take an IQ test I was at 140. You must be something really special. How's that cure for cancer coming?

Trump’s strategy - let’s be kind and call it, Mother of All Sliming, of his opponents, does not bother you. His attacks of the GOP... not a bother. His claim of voterless elections where voters don’t vote for him, not a problem. His - boorish, juvenile, immature, undignified rambling, ‘would be a riot,’ incoherent, position-switching, press conferences... not a problem.

The reason for that is because those "problems" exist only in your mind.

That you would try to invert reality, talking past what we've all seen with our own eyes for several months, which is a relentless campaign of character assassination against Donald Trump, is utterly laughable.

The vast bulk of the "sliming" is coming from the Left/Media/GOPe & Cruz-Kasich "NeverTrump" vendetta. It's utterly slanted, amoral, and despicable, and its participants, who are conservative only in the sense that they want to "conserve" a corrupt system, long ago ceded the moral high ground to Donald Trump.

So you shouldn't be surprised that your alternate reality meets with increasingly dismissive attitudes from Trump supporters. We know Donald Trump isn't perfect, but we also know that he's by far the best choice we have at this juncture.

Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to steal seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.

Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: in getting the nomination, Cruz will:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Ted Cruz's best case scenario.

It would be comical if it wasn't so dangerous.

Ted Cruz appears fully willing to sacrifice his own party, and even the country, on the altar of his own blind personal ambition.

Ted Cruz's egotism and malignant narcissism make Donald Trump's ostensible character deficits pale in comparison.

When Ted Cruz benefited from the GOPe "greased skids" delegate grab in Colorado (Rush Limbaugh's description), Donald Trump turned lemons into lemonade, branding Ted Cruz as an entitled party insider. "Great ground game", my ass. Those Colorado delegates may turn out to be the most costly delegates Ted Cruz has acquired.

And now, it's possible that the Colorado delegates might not even be seated at the convention. Why? Here's what one Colorado Cruz supporter has to say about the states "by the rules" process: Colorado County GOP Chair: Errors with Ted Cruz’s Delegate Win, Might Need Do-Over

Vote Trump

So what?

That doesn't mean your unprincipled, naked opportunist "constitutional law" expert would make a good President.

In case you haven't noticed, Ted Cruz has been collapsing in both national and state polls for the last few weeks.

The People have weighed him in the balance, and he has been found wanting.

Conversely, Donald Trump is now winning primaries with well over 50% of the vote, and in a 3 man race! Trump already has about 2.4 million votes more than Ted Cruz, and that gap is only going to widen moving forward.

After Cruz sees several more last place finishes today, he will fall even more.

Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.

Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: after swiping the nomination, he will:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Cruz's best case scenario.

It would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.

Would one of you Cruz fanboys please explain to us any plausible scenario under which Ted Cruz can unite the party by usurping the nomination from the clear frontrunner?

Vote Trump

Not sleeping.

Tonight it seems you can only criticize the non-preferred candidate and can only shout support for the annointed one.

Brave New World it seems.

What about Cruz defending a Chinese tire company that had stolen American technology? Does that make him a Chinese sympathizer? By the standard you’re trying to apply to Trump, it does.

Lawyers sometimes work for unsavory clients. If we’re going to smear Manafort for his clients, and by extension, the guy he’s currently working for, I can give you lots of examples of Cruz himself and guys on his campaign (Charles Foster) who have advocated on behalf of equally unsavory people.

My goodness, are you a media hack, using FreeRepublic to throw various mud balls at Trump, hoping to find one that sticks well enough for all of your media buddies to use as a weapon for an all-out Trump assault?

You might have missed it, but the media’s attacks on Trump have not convinced anyone other than a few die-hard Cruzites. Most of us see the attacks and lies for what they are, and our support for Trump only becomes stronger as a result.

The best boss I ever had said "trust the resume". It wasn't lack of education. It took awhile for us to see the real Cruz. We didn't read the whole resume (we still haven't) and because of that we were fooled.

That’s awesome, tumblindice.

Nice job channeling Brigadier General Ripper.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like “D-fendr” knows that movie, and completely missed your point.

I love that movie! :)

Well, I found the whole Facebook thing hard to understand. It is the electronic equivalent of the backyard fence. Who gets their news from gossips, anyway? I thought that was what the tabloids were for. How is Bat Boy doing nowadays, anyway?

The Glenn Beck alliance did it for me.

Beck has been completely insane for many years, that Cruz couldn’t see it (as smart as he is supposed to be) is troublesome. I notice Beck hasn’t been humping him lately.

I figured that there was about a 75% chance this scheme of Cruz and Kasich would backfire — on Cruz, at least. Looks like it may be true.

I don’t know why these unhappy formerly-Cruz Facebook posters should be so surprised. They knew he was a snake before he pulled this stunt.

And then, after he goes through those gyrations, he starts his sentence with, “Look...” or “Listen...” in a condescending tone, as if he were schooling the questioner. I really hate that.

His oral communications are pretty abysmal, really. How he got the reputation of “master debater” or “off-the-charts brilliant” is a mystery to me.
