That amount the veterans are being stiffed is yuuuuuuuuuge.
How much of what Cruz raised for vets has been delivered to charities??
Excuse me.
This is ridiculous. He’ll send the other half soon.
Believe me.
Very, very, very.
I guess it was 6 million PLEDGED, yes? Is there evidence that it isn’t being dispersed as it is received? Or do you expect Trump to use his own money while waiting? Just curious.
And how much has the Cruz campaign raised for and delivered to Vets?
How much pledged has been collected? Then of the collected amount how much has not been paid?
And just FYI, if a ‘journalist’ uses the phrase ‘do a solid’, I know exactly how mature the ‘journalist’ is......reminds me too much of Anthony Weiner.
This keeps getting posted over and over.
Half of the PLEDGED money has been given out. No on addresses how much was actually collected. Moreover they are still finding places to donate the money.
Just how much did you give? I am betting nothing.
So glad I deleted that bookmark.
“A Trump spokesperson told CNN contributions would continue as money came in from donors, but why wait for money to come in?”
Maybe because they can’t give the groups money they don’t have yet. I guess the brain trust at the ever so aptly named Hot Air thinks Trump should just cut a check. I thought conservatism wasn’t about telling private individuals how to spend their money.
But if we’re going to do that, has Hot Air written an article about Cruz’s lack of charitable giving? 1% from a professed Christian isn’t exactly impressive.
Wow, you Cruzers are getting more pathetic by the day, aren’t you? There is a difference between pledged and collected, or have you people gone so far over the edge in your hatred that this fact escapes you? Just another pathetic attempt by the Cruz-Loonies to smear Trump I guess.
As one of the MANY folks who gave a few dollars to the Veteran's benefit, I have to say: Where are you coming from? If the Trump organization had given the money out quickly and recklessly, you'd be complaining about carelessness and fraud!
I don't want the money just to be a windfall, not necessarily being put to the best use. I want it given out methodically and in a timely matter, to maximize the benefit it achieves. I want some of that money left in the fund in case any emergencies arrive where a Veteran has a desperate immediate need for cash.
If this is an indication about how Trump will demand that US finances be handled, THREE CHEERS!!
Perhaps, now that you've made us aware of how vigilant the Trump organization is with OUR donations (probably not yours), it could be an ongoing endeavor, where those of us so inclined could occasionally add a few more dollars to the fund.
Noooo. Watch the other hand. It’s yuuuuuge!
Oh noes...another constipated conservative is heard from.
Given that Cruz has run on a platform of religiosity, why didn’t he tithe?
A Trump spokesperson told CNN contributions would continue as money came in from donors, but why wait for money to come in?

I know the TDS has complete control of you both at this time, but TRY to think about this. How, under the current IRS regulations, do you payout from you foundation entity before you receive the income? Does your foundation take out a loan?
And the pattern repeats: Trump says something, people Run in Circles Scream And Shout (RICSAS), some people actually think about it, and decide Trump was correct!
>>>>>>The real problem is that anyone who has attempted to track down the $6 million raised has been unable to find more than about half that amount that was actually delivered to veterans groups. <<<<<<<
meanwhile...... Hillary...... ????
smh
You can’t give away money you don’t have. The money is pledged so it means they haven’t received it yet, it’s only been 3 months. Look at the Clinton money laundering foundation: only 6% of the $140 million taken in after a year went to charity, but ho hum let’s ignore that because it’s Hitlery and she is untouchable.
Sounds just like Oprah.
With such a large value for the Trump Brand, Trump must, of course, charge for his "brand". A 50% rate is hardly unusual!
