I am posting this as a “vanity”, my very first “vanity” post and BTW in Bloggers/Personal where it belongs, but since there have been multiple threads on this topic and way too many people on multiple threads that I would like to respond to, I am posting it here.

Of course they shouldn't be in the opposite sex bathrooms, but there are already laws in place to handle this.

The Right must not overreact with more laws which will throw the issue into the Federal courts, which is what the Left wants.

“I just don’t think I have the words to express my disgust and contempt with ‘leaders’ who see no problem with giving free reign to these perverted psychos.”

What’s even more depressing is that most of these “leaders” that are pushing this crap are women!! Like the mayors of Charlotte and Houston and heads of teacher’s unions.

I posted this on another thread; fits here too:

No Trannie in their right mind would use the men’s bathroom dressed as a woman. They’d have the crap beat out of them, literally. As to a Tranny going into a woman’s bathroom, all the women that might be in there, along with their children, would beat a fast track out of there as soon as they would spot the Tranny. So, as Trump said, leave it alone, it’s not really a problem.

And Cruz claims “young children alone in bathrooms with Trannies”. No parent in their right mind would leave a young child go into a public bathroom by themselves ever in the first place. When I was young, there were many fathers and monthers, including my own mother, that took their young children, male or female into opposite gender bathrooms if necessary in order to watch over them and so that they WOULDN’T be alone in the bathroom. Parents do this all the time to this very day.

Does anyone get upset that the parents go into opposite sex bathrooms to assist and protect their young children? No they don’t. Trump is right. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Cruz, as usual, raises a red herring and lies to gain political points. He sucks.

No kidding. And even worse, when some flake of an official pushes these kinds of laws through, forcing businessmen and patrons to be subserviant to their twisted homo-fascist measures, the conservatives who try to pass something to actually “remedy” it are the ones that get attacked from all quarters. Not just from the libs and the media, but from our own so-called “conservative” voices, who chide us for daring to rock the boat, saying we don’t need any NEW laws and whatnot.

Well, then those so-called “conservative” voices are standing with the damned perverts and homo-fascists who have turned this nation into such a cesspool! That makes them every bit an enemy to me as ISIS is, when it comes to the destruction of the country. I’d treat them to the same blade.

Surely you jest about the laws already in place.
All the left has to do is claim that a man “self-identifies” as a woman. The MSM will report it that way.

I’m terribly sorry and sad this happened to your family. I’m thankful it wasn’t worse than it was.

What happened to your family is going to happen more and more, what with the excuses being concocted by politicians, psychiatrists, lawmakers, local businesses, and idiot parents who have done a lousy job with their kids.

So of course perverts will be taking advantage of the excuses being offered them on a silver platter ... of mental disorders, gender identity issues, etc., and they’ll be getting away with it.

I’d say, just wait for it, but it’s already happening; although, for the time being, restricted to liberal hellholes for the most part.

And I’m sure all the “educated and enlightened” twits will be twittering their “wisdom” — while telling the rest of us we’re bumpkins. It’s already happening on FR.

I do appreciate what the officer had to say:

>>>Well if you told me he had attacked you, if you told me you thought you saw a weapon on him, it would probably be justifiable homicide – justifiable self-defense” <<<

I’d shoot one of these sickos in a heartbeat if I felt he was endangering me or my loved one. As a matter of fact, if I run into a man in the ladies’ room, I’m going to assume he means harm and I will act accordingly.

Wonderful summation. Target Corporation and all entities that support this perversion can go to Hell! Anyone who goes along with this will end up In hell if they do not repent and turn back to truth and righteousness.

The clear and evident answer is to continue to have the power of law to drag the pervert out of the restroom they are invading, not allowing them to freely invade them without consequences.

Thanks for that link Travis.

Unfortunately, as I’ve seen on the other treads posted on the topic, it seems that many people on FR don’t see it as an important issue.

Austin Christopher Wikels, from Dauphin County in central Pennsylvania, is a cross-dresser who regularly presents himself as “Gina Gessner.”

My neck of the woods BTW.

but the lesson is at no age should a female be unaccompanied in a public restroom.

I would hope that you might come to realize how idiotic that statement actually sounds.

I am a 55-year-old professional woman who is divorced and has been living single for nearly 15 years. I sometimes travel for work, I’ve even traveled outside of the US for work, I often go shopping alone, I’ve traveled out of state to visit friends and relatives all by myself; I sometimes have to use public rest rooms.

Are you proposing that I should not be allowed to travel alone, perhaps that I should be accompanied when leaving home, for my own protection of course, say by an adult male relative such as something similar to and under Sharia Law in places like Saudi Arabia?

Are you suggesting that I must have a “bathroom buddy” otherwise it’s my own fault if some male pervert, a man who decides their “gender identity” on that particular day says he “identifies” as female, comes into the lady’s room and does something bad to me?

Perhaps the next time I’m at a business conference or seminar and have to go pee, I should raise my hand and beg someone to accompany me to the lady’s room?

Far to many sickies in the world but who would have been at the door to monitor that young man or in the case of a transgender to verify equipment. People act as if one more la will make it better. We don't control everything and law or not, we have to protect ourselves and others. There are so many laws already that are not enforced. A law about this will be no panaceas unless there is someone at that door to enforce it.

Again you are missing the point and that of the NC law.

Originally known as House Bill 2, the law came in response to a Charlotte City Council ordinance mandatingthat all public facilities should allow people to use the bathroom or locker room corresponding to their gender identity. The North Carolina statute overturned the rule, stating that public accommodation policy can only be established at the state level. It also said usage of bathrooms and other vulnerable areas in public schools and government buildings must be done according to the sex on a person’s birth certificate. It made no demands of businesses and allows them to adopt their own policies.

http://www.wnd.com/2016/04/trump-scolded-on-n-c-bathroom-bill-you-got-key-fact-wrong/#gLJjuLq4p1cZ6Jvv.99

Again, “My point was and is that if anyone of any gender can use the bathroom of his/her/shims/its choice, the prosecution of any sexual assaults becomes more difficult to prove. If a man being in a women’s rest room is not on its self at all suspicious or out of the ordinary. It removes the “motive” out of the equation.”

“What this perv did to my great niece was a crime and would be a crime with or without laws – federal laws, state laws and with or without any store policies like Target’s regarding whether a person of the opposite biological gender has to use the men’s or lady’s room or the rest room of their biological birth or can use the one of their “choosing”.”

“HOWEVER - and I think this is the VERY IMPORTANT PART - in the police report and the charging documents it was noted that “a 17-year old “male” entered the women’s restroom, where he did not belong and with obvious bad intent.””

“If a biological male decides he wants to use the Lady’s Room because he’s using the bathroom he “feels is appropriate”; and who is to say otherwise if that’s how he/she/ it “feels” on any given day or moment, or as this perv’s mother claimed, “HE’S GENDER CONFUSED!”, then the fact of him being in the woman’s room in the first place would not be something that would support in the police report and charging documents as having “bad intent”. And the only thing to support the charges against him would be the word of a 7 and 8-year-old as to what happened as there were no adult witnesses. And we know how that works out some times.”

“If a biological male can use whatever restroom that he wants to use at the time based on how he “identifies” at any given time, then no one could really question why he was there in the first place.”

Single occupant unisex or “family” bathrooms are totally impractical in many places. Think about sports stadiums, concert venues, hotel conference centers, airports, train stations, large retail stores, just to name a few.

Thanks for calling my opinion idiotic. I love speaking with people who demean me-—not.

Laws about bathrooms will only PREVENT a crime IF there is a monitor to keep the person out. Otherwise we already have laws that make rape or sexual contact with a child a crime in any location.

As a resident of NC I am familiar with the situation, have and will vote for McCrory, but a law must have a means to enforce to be effective. Again who will monitor and if harm is done laws are already on the books.

Again thanks for the insult, typical though I guess.

Thanks for calling my opinion idiotic. I love speaking with people who demean me-—not.

I didn’t call “you” idiotic but I do find your statement: “but the lesson is at no age should a female be unaccompanied in a public restroom” to be idiotic. Sorry if I offended you, however as a woman I am offended by that statement.

The inference of your statement is a that a full grown adult woman going into any public restroom without being accompanied by someone else is somehow at fault if some male perv is in there (where he doesn’t belong FWIW) because she shouldn’t have been in there alone, not having been accompanied by a “bathroom buddy” in the first place. Is that really your position? That’s like saying that women who are victims of car jackings are somewhat at fault because they made themselves vulnerable because they shouldn’t have been out driving in a car by themselves.

Laws about bathrooms will only PREVENT a crime IF there is a monitor to keep the person out. Otherwise we already have laws that make rape or sexual contact with a child a crime in any location.

No laws that I know of PREVENT any crime. Armed robbery is against the law. But I don’t know how the law against armed robbery prevents it from happening, so then why bother. I guess the only way to PREVENT armed robberies would be to have monitors to keep any potential armed robbers out of the places they might rob, strip search them for weapons perhaps? Since that’s not practical, then why even bother.

As a resident of NC I am familiar with the situation, have and will vote for McCrory, but a law must have a means to enforce to be effective. Again who will monitor and if harm is done laws are already on the books.

No. I don’t think you do. The law passed by Charlotte City Council said that that all public facilities (public AND private) should allow people to use the bathroom or locker room corresponding to their ”gender identity”.

So if I owned a business, say for instance a women’s only gym in Charlotte, under the ordinance they passed it would be illegal for me to keep out men; and I am not talking only about a convincing looking “trannie”, a la a Ru Paul type, but a big burly hairy man, someone not even attempting to convincingly pass or dress as a woman, perhaps even someone with a prior history of assaulting females such as the ones Travis noted in his links, out of the women’s restrooms and locker rooms at my place of business. It would be discrimination for me to deny them and I could be sued if this man now says he “identifies” as a woman.

The NC law overturned the rule, stating that public accommodation policy can only be established at the state level. It also said usage of bathrooms and other vulnerable areas in public schools and government buildings must be done according to the sex on a person’s birth certificate. It made no demands of businesses and allows them to adopt their own policies.

So if a company such as Target wants to adopt an “anyone can use whatever restroom that matches their gender identity” they still can (and I can choose not to patronize them) and if at my place of business, if I adopt a policy of “if you are obviously a man, regardless of how you choose to identify yourself”, you can’t go into the lady’s room or use our gym or use our woman’s locker room at my place of business, I can. I guess if I owned such a business, I would be within my legal rights to ask for BC if I choose to.

Once again: “If a biological male can use whatever restroom that he wants to use at the time based on how he “identifies” at any given time, then no one could really question why he was there in the first place.”

The point is, and yes I agree it is not at all practical to monitor and screen all rest rooms for someone’s gender, however when a biological male is in one and if he commits an act of voyeurism or commits a sexual assault against a female, the fact that HE was in there in the first place goes to motive. Any law that allows HIM to be in there in the first place based on “how he identifies” takes away the motive part of any prosecution.

Again thanks for the insult, typical though I guess.

Perhaps you need to retreat to your “safe space” where any criticism or and honest discussion regarding your opinions is not allowed.
