While Hollywood is known as a hotbed of liberalism, a small, but influential group of entertainment industry conservatives exist. The Hollywood Right, as it might be called, has noted that the California Primary is going to matter for the first time in decades. The group of conservative directors, writers, and actors are banding together to stop Donald Trump and make certain that Ted Cruz wins enough delegates in the last in the nation contest to stop the mercurial real estate tycoon from clinching the Republican nomination on the first ballot. The theory is that since delegates become unbound after the first ballot, they will rally to Cruz and make him the GOP nominee instead.

why no names mentioned?
Cruz has lost. It’s over.
By time the CA primary rolls around, Cruz will be so far behind that his campaign will be on life-support. I doubt if anyone would switch to voting for a sure loser based on what anyone in Hollywood has to say.
“The Hollywood Right”?
So which table at Wendy’s will the meeting take place?
And at every step, with every attempt, we failed...
There are several reasons FOA never lived up to its potential. We drank a lot. Members loved getting loaded and bullshitting each other until 2am. Venues were chosen specifically so that Andrew Breitbart could walk home drunk without having to hail a cab, and GOP-friendly bar owners would shut out regular patrons and proclaim 'open tap night; for the Abes. Believe it or not, all that drinking was simply not conducive to constructive, serious planning.
Also, the A-listers had their own projects going on. They had no desire to have ideas pitched at them by Clovis the gaffer. At no point in my five years with the Abes did Eastwood ever say something like 'Hey Mikelti Williamson, you were Bubba in ;Forrest Gump,' so I have to ask what do you think my next film should be about?'
Another reason: 'faith-based films,' a fairly dependable genre, weren't in play for Abe consideration. There were too many atheist libertarians and secular (okay, atheist) Jews in the mix, who privately viewed their cross-wearing and churchgoing fellow Abes as irrational Neanderthals. There was a truce between the pro-religion and anti-religion Abes, but that armistice only survived because no one ever put it to the test."
Who exactly? If there are no names mentioned there is absolutely no point to the story.
The Vast Hollywood Right Wing Machine?
Some of the names of the group are well known, including Kelsey Grammer and others, but unless someone had an established profile to make them immune from being black balled by the leftists running the studios (Grammer had two of the most successful sitcoms in history under his belt before becoming the "Boss") most would do better keeping their mouths shut. I can picture them getting together to rail against "The Man", in this case leftwing fascists, but knowing that for most of them doing so openly could mean no work. As sound a reason to get drunk and bitch behind close doors as there is.
This article does not even qualify for my Trump ping list.
This article doesn’t qualify for much of anything because no names are mentioned and because of that we have to assume it could be made up BS.
They’d be better served just to let the primary play out without overt interference and save their coordinated efforts for the general.
I thought I read where Clint Eastwood supports Trump.
It’s a bunk article dreamed up
Eastwood supports Trumpf
Any objective non fearing person can see that is since the 80s the primary mind set that shapes film
Just describing that as you did will draw ire.
I had a girlfriend who worked for CAA back in the day
That’s Hollywood unless you’re too big for it to matter
And btw u described conservatives of that nature
Hollywood is 95% liberals of that nature Jewish or not
Imagine why the hostility to Christian themes and why so often were portrayed crazy negative
Accident my ass
The great TV Rural Purge which accompanied their rise was the watershed
There is one entertainment poster on this forum hates this sort of talk and will say nasty things to deny what’s so sadly obvious
