There are some things to like about Trump. Well, at least one--many Democrats hate him. But why doesn't Trump ever talk about the Constitution, or big government, or free markets, or the Tenth Amendment, or the federal debt, or natural marriage? Why doesn't he repudiate his liberal positions from the past? Why doesn't he release his financial statements? Why does he spend more time making personal attacks than explaining policy details? Why? Why?

Because if he tried to talk about all that you mention he would step on his _ick and make so many mistakes he would look like a clown

You are not allowed to point out Trump’s short comings on Free Republic. You will be called a Cruzlim and worse. Free Republic Trump supporters sound just like Trump and they don’t even realize it.

NOTICE: Given yesterday's resounding defeat of Cruz, this thread has been declared a TDS "Safe Zone" for all to post their entries of how awful, awful a candidate Trump is!"

All those issues were talked to death by the current crop of GOPe useless drones in Congress. They lied and lied and lied......and lied, again and again. Pablum for the Stupid Party faithful, i.e., rank and file Stockholm Syndrome drones.
Why do I get the impression you filled up an anti-Trump post, just to post something anti-Trump.

Time to get out of your Cruz cave and start paying attention to what Trump actually says, not what is ‘reported’ he says.

Those things aren’t important to him. His supporters are projecting their own views onto him.

Ask Paul Ryan about the federal debt...he’s pretty much taken ownership of it after December.

I donated to Cruz early on, but I have never really believed he could beat Criminal Hillary. Someone said today, without Trump, Jeb would be our nominee by now... Clinton vs Bush — perfect right??? NOT!! Then Trump starts a movement, and it's powerful. Supreme Court is at hand, I pray our Cruz family can join at least our downstream train if/when the election becomes Clinton vs Trump! I will absolutely vote Cruz if it is Clinton vs Cruz, but I just don't think he can win! And despite what so many say, Trump has the silent majority, he really does!

35% of country is Big C Conservative.
65% of the country is not.
This is not the 1980’s where Reagan Democrats were the Ram Rod of an election victory. For those that were there, The Powers That Be HATED RWR. The Romney and Bush Gangs were part of that hate.
The Donald will get big chunks of that 65%. The Donald puts NY, NJ, CT, PA, FL, MI, AND CA solidly in the “Very Possible” category. Our Man Ted, alone, doesn’t have that power.
Trump/Cruz would win 45+ states

“But why doesn’t Trump ever talk”
He’s aligned 80% with Ted Cruz’s positions. And maybe you missed the 1,000 times Trump has warned about the $19 trillion dollar debt. And if you’re asking about financials, better ask Ted about his. No, he did not release his full tax returns.
And as a practical matter, if you’re trying to win a national election, it might not be a great idea to call for the abolishment of 5 Federal departments and 25 agencies, if you expect to win the swing state of Virginia.
If I were a federal worker in VA (or any other state for that matter), I would have no choice, for the security of my family, to vote against Cruz.

I cant get to what Trump talks about. I cant get past nasty, liar, cheater, and all that other garbage like that that he says to get to what he is actually going to do.
I mean yeh he says he is going to build a wall, somehow bring jobs back and stop china from ripping us off. But I dont know how. Just cant stomach him attacking everyone out there.
