The Washington Examiners Byron York notes that it has been two weeks since Donald Trump has done or said something particularly outrageous, such as attack his opponents wife. He ascribes this to the inclusion of Paul Manafort, a seasoned political professional who helped Gerald Ford beat back a challenge by Ronald Reagan at the 1976 Republic National Convention. Of course, Manafort started his tenure as part of Team Trump by Godwin sizing himself when he accused the Ted Cruz Campaign of using Gestapo tactics in winning delegates to his side, especially in states like Colorado and now Wyoming. Cruz has also made sure that a large number of Trump delegates will switch sides after the first ballot at the convention.

Not outrageous? Has he lost his mojo?
“such as attack his opponents wife.”
Gee, who started that?
I like when he’s outrageous
Well, he said we may pull out of NATO if they don’t pay their fair share. Cruz and others were outraged for a while but then they went silent
Trump also said the system is rigged. This is outrageous to all the insiders. Cheating doesn’t happen because its part of the rules
He said in a previous interview that when the opponent field whittled down he would focus more on the issues.
Of course, liberals and Muslims get enraged and outraged all the time, but there is little mention of that. Offended by everything from bacon to sidewalk chalk, their ridiculousness goes unchallenged by the leftist media.
In that case, how about Conservatives turn the searchlights back on the publicly-avowed enemies of America and knock off the ‘friendly fire’ for a while?
such as attack his opponents wife.
Slimy Cruz started that whole wife/family attack dirty tactic business by posting a revealing photo of Donald’s wife from back in her modeling days.
Just one of his dirty tactics.
He also looks much less orange than a few months ago in my opinion.
Freegards
FWIW, Trump has admitted that his reteweet of the Heidi/Melania comparison was probably a mistake. Nobody is perfect. His instinct is to punch back, but he needs to temper that, making sure he’s hitting back at the right person, and in a way that isn’t inappropriate.
and so again...where’s the outrage of the past when we could still be outraged???...........................yeah!
He’s trying to rein in his rhetoric because everyone other the trump faithful is tired of his act, he has been whining trying to play the victim.
This is especially pathetic since he was supposed to the the great executive who knows how to build winning orgs and the guy who understands the art of the deal. Well that charade has been exposed so he has reverted to his liberal instincts and complains about fairness like he’s bernie sanders or something.
the fat broad ain’t sung yet!
Trump also said that, as president, he’d publish the 28 redacted pages of the 911 report. A few weeks later, there are rumors everywhere that the report contains the smoking gun linking the Saudi royal family directly to the hijackers. Now we have headlines all over the place about it.
Trump isn’t even president and he’s driving the narrative and blowing the lid off all kinds of nefarious doings. No wonder the powers that be are running scared and acting increasingly desperate.
Your an Idiot, it’s been proven that the Cruz campaign had nothing to do with the Trumps wife commercial.
I however, think that it was relevant anyway. I would greatly prefer a woman as a “first wife” who has class, as opposed to one who was paid for posing nude!
Yes, it says a lot about character of both her and him!
Sounds like Trump wants to win, FINALLY.
Saying “It is said that” just means another load of
made up crap.
It all depends on “what one would think” is outrageous.
“Some would say” that he hasn’t been outrageous enough.
That’s Obama speak for get your rubber boots on it’s going
to get pretty deep around here.
