FYI: Senator Sessions voted against Cruz amendment 5. It was sickening for us who have worked on the immigration issue for many years to hear Cruz cite a bogus study to justify his desire for more foreign workers.

On the issues of great importance this election cycle (immigration, trade, jobs and security) Trump is the most conservative candidate running. “Me too” Ted has tried to steal Trump issues, but “me too” Ted is not credible since “me too” Ted had to flip flop on immigration and trade to get to where Trump is. Ted Cruz is not a constitutional-conservative. Were Cruz really a constitutional-conservativehe would not be running for president. There is no way in he[[ that the son of a Cuban born in Canada is a natural born citizen of the United States under original intent.

There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the Corker amendment.

There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted to reauthorize the Patriot Act.

There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the TPP enabling TPA.

1. DT is not conservative in any way shape or form in social conservatism(or just about anything else)

As we all fall far short of being or living as we'd hope but to pretend that Cruz does not while holding Trump superior, is laughable if it weren't so sad.

Are both Cruz and Trump imperfect men - yes, there you have it.

Are the backgrounds of each man indicative of their commitment to conservative principles- again, yes.

While Trump is almost 70 years old and Cruz 45, there is lots more to examine in both Trumps "works" and his words. There has been no attempt at hiding Trump's past until more recently but most is out there for all to observe and determine whether his past fits with what most conservatives should be taking into account - not his cudrent anti-establishment statements.

Another biblical quote states, where a man's treasure is, there is his heart also.

Look at where Trump has put most of his treasure (besides on himself and his family) and you will find it goes to every establishment politician and liberal position. Not one conservative cause had Trump's investment, therefore, if the man has placed his treasure to liberal and liberal establishment politicians, I can be fairly certain that he is not conservative.

While Cruz has not been around as long in his working life to have spent his time and talent for the many decades Trump has, we find them spent favoring conservative causes and candidates.

I rest my case.

Romney did not provide his tax returns until September 2012 well after he became the nominee.

If I were Trump, I would not provide them at all. This is a fairly recent phenomenon that candidates supply their tax returns in addition to their financial disclosure filings.

Trump does not prepare his tax returns. An army of accountants do. He is audited annually by the IRS. Why do we need to see them? The obvious answer is for his opponents to go thru them to find something embarrassing or negative. Below is a picture of Trump signing his 2014 returns:

Bernie just released a year of his tax returns. His annual income was less than Hillary made for one speech. Hillary still refuses to release the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman-Sachs. I would say Trump has a bargaining chip to use against Hillary in the fall.
