So we are saying the Navy, or any federal organization, cannot perform certain functions in states with religious freedom laws???, what the heck???

So what is next?? The federal government will close all offices and installations in states with so called anti LGBT laws?? The federal government will not provide public assistance or perform any federal function in such states??

Where does all this nonsense end?? You can see that is putting us on a slippery slope. Any state which has the temerity to do anything which Obama or liberals disapprove of, will be punished in some way. That’s where this is going.

And that is bad?

‘harsh anti-gay laws’

Just what is the criminal penalty for homosexual acts in Mississippi? If there is one, is it actually being enforced?

I was under the impression that the issue was very much on the other foot. That is, Mississippi was simply trying to protect people who opposed certain behavior from being punished for refusing to pretend that they found that behavior acceptable.

Am I the one confused? Or is someone in the Navy confused?

Wow, “the South” (CSA) should’ve used this principle to its advantage. Could’ve avoided the Civil War altogether.

Maybe just by passing such bigoted laws like fag-prevention, the Federals would’ve pulled out of Ft. Sumter on their own because they didn’t want to “support meanness” by being in the same place.

Maybe it would work much better now. Maybe this is how we can get our separate new nation - the US will just pull out, being so offended.
