...Gross was questioned after multiple complaints were filed with prosecutors by Polish citizens over an article published in 2015 in which Gross said Poles killed more Jews than Germans during the German occupation a claim that challenges a widespread conviction in Poland that the Polish response was almost exclusively honourable.
Gross made the comparison in an article published by Project Syndicate in September critical of how Poland and other eastern European countries have reacted to the migrant crisis. He decried as heartless the regions opposition to accepting refugees and argued that the attitude was rooted in the regions murderous past.
In the most controversial section, Gross wrote: Consider the Poles, who, deservedly proud of their societys anti-Nazi resistance, actually killed more Jews than Germans during the war.

What’s the difference between David Irving and this guy?
BTW the whole thing was posted by a German EUnuch, now this is something :)))
Actually, prior to the War, exiling Jews was official Polish policy. In 1925 Poland was far more anti semitic than Germany. Poland urged its Jewish citizens to emigrate to Palestine. After the War, survivors returning to their confiscated homes were met by hostile Polish squatters.
I don’t blame the Holocaust on Poland or any individual Poles, but the Germans probably had no problem recruiting helping hands among the Poles. BTW, the country that was Poland in 1925 contained a lot of towns and regions that were German speaking and had been part of the German Empire prior to the Great War. Young men living in German speaking regions of Poland and the former Austro-Hungarian Empire were drafted into the Wehrmacht as if they were citizens of Germany, once the Reich occupied their homelands.
After the War, and during its late stages, about a million German speaking civilians were killed, and millions turned into refugees, as Eastern Europeans drove Germans out of what had been German speaking enclaves.
“exiling Jews was official Polish policy”
No, helping Zionists form Israel was official Polish policy. The Poles even went so far as to arm and train Polish Jews in paramilitary groups such as Haganah, Irgun and Lehi - BEFORE WWII. Now, the end result might be the same - fewer Jews in Poland - but that is a lot different than “exile”.

If you are going to insult someone be man enough to include a ping.
From the article: ...questioned a Polish-American scholar, Jan Tomasz Gross, to determine if he committed the crime of publicly insulting the nation [...] which can carry a prison term of up to three years.
Why do you think the prosecutor won't charge him?
Jacek Leociak, a historian with the Polish Center for Holocaust Research, said it was difficult to establish exactly how many Jews were killed by Poles during the war but that the number was significant. He said Grosss comparison could be correct if speaking about Germans killed by Polish underground forces in occupied Poland, and not the Polish army fighting on the western and eastern fronts. The claim that Poles killed more Jews than Germans could be really right and this is shocking news for the traditional thinking about Polish heroism during the war, Leociak said. He said Grosss comparison had merit because it reveals this dimension of the Polish war experience which was always covered, hidden and suppressed.
The mentioned armies were under the Allies command. Other Poles acted either on their own or in command of the Nazi occupation force. I wonder which of the two were the Poles whom Gross accuses of killing the Jews.
But the Nazi rountinely used local collaborators for mass killings in all the occupied countries. Probably the mentioned Poles are those people.
Yeah, well you and your stinkin’ facts just ruined a perfectly good revisionist history thread.
“Why do you think the prosecutor won’t charge him? “
Because that would be extremely anti-Semitic...
Just so you know. I am an American citizen ad you are the EUropean. If you are ever man enough to change your status then you can try insulting me. Till then you are a joke.
Apparently, you've been there long enough to assimilate and push forward EUnuch propaganda.
“If you are ever man enough to change your status”
Sweet Merkel ! So to be “man enough” I should acquire citizenship of some foreign country ? These EUnuchs... no wonder you think Conchita Wurst is cool.
Apparently, you've been there long enough to assimilate and push forward EUnuch propaganda.I posted an item about Poland. Too bad for you that you're not mature enough to handle it.
I wonder what it would be like if I flamed every forum member who posted a thread about America or Germany. That would be mighty pathetic.
Sweet Merkel ! So to be “man enough” I should acquire citizenship of some foreign country ? Or you could be smart and win an argument with your fellow county men to leave the EU. But no, I'm sure you reach the limit of your capabilities at being an immature Troll on the internet.
“I posted an item about Poland.”
Don’t forget to add that bringing “refugees” in is “not that bad” :)))
I didn’t write that.
I doubt that. Jews aren't immune from the law, and the criminal code article isn't anti-semitic. The article is against my idea of free speech, like some other laws in other countries, but that's another issue.
Isn't Poland a EU member?
If so, it makes Poles EUnuchs, isn't it? Unless they change their nationality, of course.
That was Stalin's doing, he drew up the maps for Eastern Europe after the war.
Actually the one time that Polish policy was for exiling Jews occurred in 1968, under the Communists.
