I doubt it is Rubio. I would guess someone like McConnell or Dole or some establishment insider. I suspect this is hype that serves to gather media for a less than stellar endorsement, trying to manufacture more excitement than it deserves. Plus it is Bankrupt Trump’s way to gain free media. He does it all the time.

Rubio is dead in Florida. He still has a following elsewhere in the country. I’d rather have him than gaysick.

Neither McConnell nor Dole have delegates to barter. Rubio and Kasich, on the other hand, would sell their mothers to cannibals for a shot at the VP slot. Lots of options for the Trump campaign.

You are likely right on with this.

The best way to tell one’s future is to look at past actions.

Rubberio can not “give” Trump his 172. He can set all except FLA dels free after 1st ballot, but once they are free, they are FREE to go where they wish. Wish all the bad blood tween Walter and Rubberio, his delegates are unlikely to be pro-Trump and more likely to jump to Cruz.

This is more playing up Manafort as some smooth badass Deck Chair Coordinator on the good ship Trumptanic.
