“Problem is, we don’t make things that people like.”

I disagree, try the Turkey Hill (family owned) all natural line. For example here are the ingredients of vanilla bean ice cream:

Cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, vanilla bean. Like Breyer’s used to be.

You're dead wrong, PJ....leftists Ben Greenfield and Jerry Cohen DID sell out to Unilever....however, here's the back-story:

From the New York Times "Business Day" (4-13-2000):

"Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are still knee-deep in their formerly independently-owned ice cream business.

"Ending a four-month process, B & J's, the quirky ice cream company that made social consciousness central to its strategy, said yesterday that it had agreed to be acquired by Unilever for about $326 million in cash or $43.60 a share....

"The deal seems to pave the way for B & J's to continue its maverick ways. Unilever (which also owns the Breyer's and Good Humor brands and is a Netherlands corporation) said that Ben & Jerry's will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unilever with a separate board of directors that will include Cohen and Greenfield.....and that THE CURRENT SOCIAL MISSION OF B & J'S WILL BE ENCOURAGED AND WELL-FUNDED."

There's much, much, much more in the reportage, enough to curl the hair of any conservative, all of which shows that Unilever will continue funding the leftist ideology of Cohen and Greenfield and that the two will continue to have say-so in the management of the new subsidiary.

(....and you can bet that for tax purposes these two capitalist-pigs marxists own a big chunky-monkey of stock shares in Unilever as part of the sale deal).

Well, I think that at 90¢ per pint, they will be LOSING money when I buy it for that price so I will be costing them money.

Try the Yearnie Bernie. You get an empty container that you can take to any ice cream store and demand that they fill it for free. After all, the store has ice cream and you don’t, it’s only fair.

Because you are buying one and getting one free, I doubt you can use 2 coupons towards that one purchase. In addition, the offer may exclude the usage of coupons, though that is not as likely. But let us know if you indeed can.

Cherry Garcia is my favorite.

***This is a prime example of why conservatives as a group are never any good with boycotts***

Too Right! Look at how Disney just condemned Chistianity for Georgia... will Christians still take their children to Disney? You know they will. sigh

Only "90 cents per pint"?

It's so sad to see by some of the drooling comments above that financially supporting Ben & Jerry's/Unilever's leftist crusade (now world-wide, by the way) comes at such an appealing cheap price.

See #66 above.

The only way I'd buy Fem & Fairy's Ice Cream is if I knew they were losing money on every pint I bought. Then I'd buy a few hundred gallons on my credit card.

Otherwise, let their fellow travelers support them.

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! Listen, I have been doing Publix (and other) couponing for years. Using TWO coupons on a BOGO sale is completely legit. And this offer does include the use of coupons. In fact, I have NEVER seen a sale there that excludes coupons. Not only that, I used TWO coupons per BOGO deal just yesterday. And I will be doing that again today.

Once in awhile I get a newbie cashier that doesn't understand that Publix rules allow for this so I just ask them to call over the manager to set them straight.

And right now my kitchen is chock full of stuff I got using TWO (count them, two) coupons per BOGO deal.

I’ve often thought that the ideal society would be one where the liberals would only be allowed to work on the fun stuff and the conservatives the serious stuff.

“Do you not READ the posts to this thread? Ben & Jerry SOLD the company to Unilever.”

Relax, I read the posts, chief. But I also know that there can be some residuals for the use of the names, likenesses, “goodwill”, and so on that continue even after a company is sold. And the jerks who those two hired may still work there.
