The problem is, if the emails led to info on the CGI, and that shows she and Bill made the improper $ profits from her actions, no one can take the rap for that but her.

In order for those emails to matter, there must be evidence of a quid pro quo, and I'm sure you understand how difficult that is going to be to prove.
