No, I have not read that book. I am also trying to stay away from pigs, for me they would be too much trouble. But thank you for your idea/s. I will try to find that book though.
The book taught me a great deal about how to get the most out of my woodlot. I had thought of it as a source of firewood (chopping trees down), fruit and maybe a sugar bush. Now I plan to cultivate mushrooms and coppice firewood for sure.
