The fix is in; the smug robber barons of the GOP Establishment are working night and day like little Keebler Elves to destroy the nomination and candidacy of Donald J. Trump.
As the days go by, it appears that Mr. Trump will have won the majority of delegates by June, but may not hit the magic number of 1237. Mr. Trump could very well show up to Cleveland minus 50 or 100 delegates needed to clinch the nomination.
The cable news airwaves are inundated with people like Rich Lowry, Karl Rove and Ben Ginsberg who consistently state the will of the people really doesnt matter at the end of the day. The nomination will be based upon the will of the corporate cronies and lobbyists who will pressure the stogie smoking, back room delegates to dispose of Trump and Cruz like empty soda cans and present to the world an Establishment puppet like Ryan, Romney, Kasich, Tan Man Boehner, or whoever else they can pull out of a Calloway golf bag.
Donald Trump is a fresh breath of sunshine in the murky world of US politics. Trump is a nationalist, a populist, a realist, a billionaire ten times over who not only promises to right all the wrongs currently dooming the American people, but practically guarantees it with a capital G.
If a series of electoral and Machiavellian calamities occur that deny Trump the nomination and the nation ends up with a President Ryan, Clinton, or God forbid, Sanders look for the following things to happen:
Guns There is no doubt that a President Hillary Clinton would work with the Supreme Court to severely limit and if not completely eradicate the Second Amendment by declaring that the Amendment originally referred to state militias possessing guns and not private citizens.
Trade Deals The hideous trade deals like NAFTA and the impending catastrophe known as TPP would continue and be implemented. This would result in more American jobs moving overseas. The corporate tax rate would continue to remain high, sending yet more American companies to foreign lands as well.
Mexico and the Border Mexico wouldnt pay for a Wall, because there would be no Wall. Do not think for a moment that anyone but Trump would put up a Wall to stop illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants provide cheap labor for corporations and with Trump out of the way and ensconced in his gold penthouse, the gravy train will continue with suppressed American blue collar wages and zero blue collar jobs for American workers.
Muslim Refugees A President Sanders or Clinton would continue to allow thousands of unvetted Muslim refugees into the country, turning loose on the American population potential ISIS murderers, all in the name of political correctness and multi-culturalism.
Endless, Unwinnable Wars Trump is the only candidate talking about shutting down the endless, unwinnable war business, which is another reason the Establishment hates him. While Trump wants to smash ISIS and rebuild the US military, he, like Reagan would only use it as a last resort, not as a nation building force for Jeffersonian Democracy in the Middle East.
Infrastructure Without a President Trump, the nations bridges, roads and railways will continue to look like something out of a Charles Dickens novel.
The rest of the crowd
Sanders would doom the nation to endless taxation, while collapsing the economy in some kind of Leninesque quest to break up banks and destroy Wall Street.
Hillary, a Neo-Con legend in her own mind would sentence the nation to further wars and nation meddling.
Ryan would sell out the American worker by pushing TPP and continual, rotten trade deals that line his pockets and fleece the average American.
Cruz is so tied in with the CFR and Goldman Sachs that globalists would control his Presidency from day one.
Kasich would let illegal immigration run wild.
Without a President Trump the massive corruption and obscene greed of the Establishment will continue on both sides of the political spectrum. Without a President Trump, the robber barons will continue to rob. Without a President Trump the American people will continue to suffer. Without a President Trump, the frustration, despair and anger of the American people may reach the breaking point and the peaceful revolution of today could very well become the violent revolution of tomorrow.
Marco Rubio for VP will cinch it.
The sky is falling, the sky is falling...
Only the might of the mightiest champion with huge ideas, and fantastic people can stop it!
Look, up in the sky, it’s a liberal, no, it’s a eastern elitist, no, it’s Trumpkins Man. Faster than his own speeding lips, stronger than several anchorbabes, and able to bankrupt tall buildings in a single bound.
Wow, this guy is hysterical.
“What is a majority? A majority means 50% + 1.
What is a plurality? A plurality is having more than anyone else, but less than a majority.
There are 2472 delegates that will make up the Republican Convention. 50% of that is 1236. 50% + 1 is 1237. That is why a candidate to win the nomination must have 1237 delegates to win the nomination. Not 1135 because it is close; not 1000 if you have 400 more delegates than anyone else. It doesn’t matter how big a plurality of delegates the leader has. The only thing that matters is which candidate is able to cobble together 1237 delegates.
Also, it would not be against the will of the people to not eventually give the nomination to the person who has the plurality of delegates going into the convention. Here is why. The person who has a plurality of delegates going into the convention means that while he has more than anyone else, it also means a majority of the delegates are for someone other than the person with a plurality of the delegates.
In Donald Trump’s case, it is even starker that because there were so many candidates in the race, Donald Trump is winning most of those delegates with about 35% vote from the people. That means an overwhelming majority of the people that voted, voted for someone other than Donald Trump. In fact, there hasn’t been one primary or caucus where Donald Trump has received a majority of the vote. Not even close to it.
It would actually be more accurate to say to just automatically give the nomination to Trump without having a majority of the delegates is actually stealing the nomination away from the will of the people”

Donald Trump is far ahead in absolute numbers of votes, and in delegates. To pull the nomination away from him and give to to also-ran: who, it should be noted, lost decisively in two bellwether states (FL and OH); and who did best in small, rural, closed caucuses (both easily "gamed" *AND* not reflective of the national election)...would confirm the present appearance of chicanery.
When was the last time you remember that the current ranking members of the GOP actively trashed their OWN front runner?
As far as your bald faced lie about plurality...it's a double standard. "The majority is against Trump, so *there*!" is refuted by "An even LARGER majority is against Cruz. Suck on that."
Cruz faced the same bevy of candidates early on as did Trump. He was confidently predicting great things in the South, the home of his putative base, the Evangelicals. And yet Trump took a large chunk of them -- of the popular vote, that is, not resulting to body-snatching to pick off the odd delegate by unknown means behind everyone's back.
The idea that Cruz is excused because "well, he faced a lot of candidates, so his low numbers don't count, but Trump's low numbers are 'real' is bullsh*t. This is because Trump's "low" numbers reflect the fact that he is running against two people who are admittedly in the race only as spoilers, who know that they cannot win in the regular primaries, and who under any other circumstances, would have dropped out to unify the party: but they are putting the party bosses' interests above the party and the people, because they admit they are trying to deny Trump the nomination, so it can be given to someone else at the convention.
All of their actions, from their pickpocketing delegates, to the massive ad buys against Trump, and attacks on Trump (as the only candidate with a mathematically possible chance of winning) from sitting members his own party, and continuing to run even though they have been mathematically eliminated, are unprecedented.
Further, Bill Clinton won the Presidential vote with less than 50% of the popular vote. Yet he governed as though he had won in a landslide; and I don't hear trolls as you bringing that up against him.
You're a lying troll.
What is a majority? A majority means 50% + 1.”
Simple as that...
In football if the player gets tackled on the 1 yard line just short of getting the goal. He doesn’t get points for the goal, he fell short of it. This is playing by the rules.
So if Trump gets 1240 delegates he falls short. He did not get the goal. Following the rules. The delegates will vote until a candidate gets the majority (1247) votes.
Whoever gets the majority will be the Republican nomination.
I will vote for whomever the republican nominee is. Anyone is better than Clinton or Sanders.
I understand your angry, but angry doesn’t change the rules of the game. And if one player understands the rules to the game better and uses those rules to his advantage so be it.
Easily- he’s not offering effective remedies anyway
You better take a couple of valium before you read any further.
It’s a massively huge coincidence that you posted such a reply; I only finished the first paragraph as I couldn’t sleep. I now have a migraine - some 8 hours later. At age 52, this is only my second one. I don’t think it’s because of the material, but now you have me more worried. Glad you shared this, though. I read half of One Second After. Need to finish it. Did you read that?
Every American should read both books.
Wow! Thank you for sharing that! Sorry for the late reply.
