That part where Cruz’s mom gave him the look when he said she spent “hours in prayer” says a lot about Cruz’s character. His own mom basically let on that he is full of BS. He couldn’t just leave it at “my mom prays for me” which I’m sure is the truth, he just had to go with the extra exaggeration.
You do know he was joking right? You honestly think she spends hours a day praying for Ted.
From her look it was obvious that she doesn't spend hours a day praying. And it didn't look like Cruz was joking at all.
