This primary election is a charade. Its a lopsided win for Trump. But, We are stuck with the GOPe and a guy trying to steal delegates from a winner and promote a rules change to qualify a win for himself.
Cruz has weaseled wins in small caucus states with oddball vote counting methods and some are certainly questionable (Maine & now LA).
Cruz carried these states:
Virgin Islands. by 30 votes
Wyoming........by 480 votes
Alaska............by 600 votes
Maine.............by 2,500
Teds total votes from 9 wins.
Wyoming....... 620 people and
Virgin Islands 200 people
Alaska..... 8,400
Maine...... 8,500
Kansas... 35,000
Iowa...... 52,000
Utah..... 122,000
Okie..... 158,000
Thats eight states totaling 385,000 votes.
If it wasnt for Texas, hed have a pile of beans!
Cruzs homeTexas win was 1,239,393
Cruz won 9 states with..... 1,724,000 votes
Trump won 21 states, and nearly all the states were won by tens and hundreds of thousands of votes. The millions that have attended his rallies have voted.
Marianas (343peeps)... Hawaii...........6,000
Vermont...... 20,000.....Nevada.........35,000
Kentucky..... 83,000.....N. Hamp.....101,000
Louisiana.... 125,000....Arkansas....133,000
Mississippi...191,000....S. Carolina...241,000
Arizona........250,000.....Mass...........311,000
Tennessee....333,000.....Virginia.......356,000
AlaBama.......372,000.....Missouri......382,000
N. Carolina...458,000.....Michigigan...483,000
Georgia........503,000......Illinois.........557,000
And Florida 1,079,741
Trump won 21 states with 6,020,000 votes. He has a total of 7,897,990 votes and 755 delegates. Thats 290 more than Ted.
Cruzs only way to prevail now is by pure chicanery, just how he began this campaign. It is impossible now for him to have a clean delegate win
But Cruz is supposed to be the only one capable of beating HRC.
In Texas, Cruz won only 44% of his home state/s vote.....not even enough to get all the delegates. Trump got a chunk of Texas delegates. Cruz ferreted out victories in a few caucus states known for iffy vote counting methods, places not designed to kickstart a losing campaign.
Now the desperate Cruz camp wants us to believe (via this agit-prop): In 22 states, more than 60 percent of Republican voters have rejected the Donald...
Notice how the anti-vote is never applied to him or to the other candidates.....b/c it blows the argument to smithereens.
=====================================
REALITY CHECK: even though Trump won in Louisiana, Cruz weaseled 10 delegates more. Cruz is all in with the GOPeers. Cruz is doing to Trump what Hillary Democrats are doing to Bernie Sanders ......when he wins he gets screwed and Hillary gets more delegates. Cruz is NOT an outsider by any means and he is being outed in more ways than one.
Pick and choose your points. Trump has won 37% of the total vote and Cruz has won 27%. Neither one has this Tsunami of support that you think Trump has.
We are stuck with the GOPe and a guy trying to steal delegates from a winner and promote a rules change to qualify a win for himself.//
There it is. Ted can win caucuses but not elections where people vote secret ballots. Free elections, where voters saw him and about 75% or more rejected him, with most of those going to Trump.
Now Ted figures why do all the work to get votes when you can steal the delegates after the fact?
Ted Cruz = Thad Cochran
And I don’t get where the Trump haters figure Ted can win the general. He can barely get over 20% in southern states. He will lose in a landslide to Hillary.
I know it’s small and not worth much in your book, but you forgot a state.
Just so you know, I skip over that post you paste to every trump/Cruz thread.
