I saw some photos of the Rolling Stones from that Cuba concert.
I must say, those 1950s-era Cuban automobiles aged better than the Rolling Stones!

I am sure it didnt cost anything to get to the arena to see them, but I highly doubt that they did it for free.

60 years of communists dictatorship, famine, executions and they get a free concert from a group of 70 year olds. Pathetic.

If the 70+ year old Rolling Stones were presented to me as one of the benefits of Capitalism, I’d vote to keep Cuba Communist . . . .

I'm sure they arrived on Private Jets and they had to pay the Cuban Government a gratuity.
Someday they may even have television in Cuba.

I’m glad the Beatles broke up while they were young, the Rolling Stones look embarrassing.

I work with a very conservative woman who is a naturalized US citizen originally from behind the Iron Curtain. I was shocked to find out she was a member of the Communist Party when she was very young. When I asked her how that was possible she explained that only party members and friends could get invited to special events and parties. It wasnt until her father became a political prisoner that she discovered the true evil of communism.
Just like crappy healthcare, access to entertainment and services is a way to control the masses and true freedom is independence from government.

Does anyone really think the Stones performed for free? They didn’t. There were sponsors that paid them. The Rolling Stones don’t do anything for free.
