The Ted Cruz sex scandal may be nothing of the sort, some journalists are beginning to say after the seemingly bombshell story hit the news this week.
On Friday, the National Enquirer reported that Cruz had been something of a ladies man in Washington, with five different mistresses. It appeared to be a major story, especially given Cruz's strong Christian faith and his seemingly strong morals.
But there very quickly appeared to be cracks in the story, and now many journalists are going on record to raise doubts that any of it might be true. The most immediate denials came from two of the women identified in the story, Donald Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson and CNN contributor Amanda Carpenter.
Carpenter, who was put on the spot by Trump surrogate Adriana Cohen during a live interview, was particularly vehement in her denial....

So very sad and very true. Newcomers to DC have plenty of very poor role models to emulate from the Kennedy brothers to the Clintons.
And those who want to own the rising stars make sure that the availability of beautiful women and intoxicating parties are readily available in DC. And they are watching and waiting to catch anyone in a honeypot.
Trump has bragged about sleeping with many women, including prostitutes and married women. That’s what for-q-clinton is talking about, I suspect.
Got any evidence of those charges? I thought not.
Tomorrow the NE will trickle out some evidence of Cruz’s women.

Trump has attacked at a personal level EVERY opponent as they got traction, Carson, Fiorina, Christie, Cruz (birther play, Rubio and now Cruz again.
I lived in the NY Metro area Trump has been doing this sort of stuff for 30 years. It is his SOP.

Blaming Trump deflects attention from the content onto Trump rather than the person involved.

That's exactly how Trump acts about foreign policy. He was for the Iraq war before it started and then 3 days after it started he came out and condemned the war effort. Then, 13 years later, he can claim that he was against the war, even though he never stated that before the war started.
The evidence so far is this is all created by the Rubio and Cruz Camps.
The Fact is there is evidence it was planned by the Cruz camp to bring in Trump so as to confuse voters, not because he was behind it.

The system should have been set up from the beginning to preclude career politicians from coming into existence. Human nature can be very disappointing, and at times very destructive.
