The ALRB is acting as an arm of, and on behalf of the United Farm Workers labor union, rather than farm workers
The Agricultural Labor Relations Board has spent $10.8 million to prevent Gerawan Farming Workers 2013 votes from being countedmore than $4,100 per vote to deny farmworkers their legal rights to be heard.
The Agricultural Labor Relations Board is also being sued for bias and conflicts of interest, and has been found actively and openly working on behalf of the United Farm Workers Labor union, rather than farm workers. And this takes money
a lot of money.
It started with Chavez himself, who I suspect was seriously mentally ill in his later years. He corrupted his own Union, made it into an anti-worker steamroller and an adjunct to the most sleazy elements of the Democratic Party.
Pathetic.
Were these ‘farming workers’ American citizens ?
Odd. But the very people who the “union” advertises as “pro-worker” and “for the little man” are the ones who get attacked as soon as the UNION is either being voted out, being audited or forced to actually do what it claims to do, or being audited against political donations to the democrats.
As I understand it, the “United Farm Workers” doesn’t even have “organizing a farmworkers union” “gaining fair contracts with decent wages and working conditions,” etc. as stated goals in their Constitution and By-Laws anymore.
