With all due respect, can we tone down the hyperbole on FR? When one of the bottom tier ex-candidates endorses one of the other candidates, it is not a HUGE announcement. It won’t shift percentages for the candidate one way or another. Let’s save HUGE for truly huge announcements like “Hillary Clinton indicted” or “Michelle Obama sues goat for alienation of affection.”

The word “huge” was not hyperbole on FR. It was an exact exerpt from the Political Insider title of the article. Isn’t that we are required to do when starting a post, use the exact title so we are not in danger of duplicating a previously posted story?

Like Carly Fiorini?
You miss the point. Jindal is not endorsing any one - it’s a take down of the GOPe.

While these types of things are subtle, they are more important than you are giving them credit for. The never-Trump movement depends upon solidarity amongst republicans, since each member of the never-Trump movement is taking significant risk with respect to their voting base. Each reasonably prominent Republicans who slips out of the never-Trump movement makes it more likely that an additional one will leave. Once it hits a tipping point, the never-Trump movement is over, and the country club republicans and neo-conservatives lose their grasp on the republican party, hopefully for a very long time.
Incidentally, this is why it is reasonably big news, even if it wasn't an endorsement. The never-Trump movement is materially weaker than it was earlier today, if this is true.
Not as huge as a Clinton indictment, but not minor, either.
