Cruz has never relinquished his Cuban citizenship thru his dad. Gonna have a lot more about this soon. I'm not sure about this. Cuban citizenship laws deny the right to descend citizenship to children born abroad of parents who did not support the revolution. It's likely that Cruz's father lost the right to pass on Cuban citizenship in Canada.
