You're right. I'm so damn sick of hearing how our elected Republicans have "fought for us" when, in fact, they haven't accomplished a damn thing.

I'm over the "A for effort" phase of my life. I want RESULTS.

Trump may be only the first link in the chain, but blowing up the cozy relationships has to be the FIRST step.

I don't think he can get us to the promised land, but he can get us started.

It's just more confirmation that Trump is for real.

And the Trump-haters just want to dismiss Donald Trump as a fraud and a con-man?

By doing so, the Trump-haters have been duped into helping the Establishment. Many of them are Cruz supporters. And they say we are the blind ones!

This is the biggest mistake that Cruz supporters are making, IMHO, and as such, it causes them to deride the supporters of Donald Trump, who until recently where their brethren in Liberty.

Such unwitting assistance is of more value to the GOPe et al. than even the willing pawns of the Establishment, such as Ted Cruz and the reamining GOP candidates.

Donald Trump represents the biggest threat to the power of the Establishment. Nothing could be more important for the entire country than for the Washington status quo to be destroyed. Nothing.

Were Ted Cruz to win, I'd like to believe that he'd would do the same things that Bill Bennett alleges that Trump would do.

But he's becoming too cozy with the GOPe now, IMHO, and has engaged in some truly despicable campaign tactics. I just don't see Ted Cruz being as fierce.

Realistically speaking, I also see Ted Cruz's path to a general election victory as much more difficult, demographically speaking, and also with much less potential to expand the GOP base in such a way as to relegate the Democrat party to minority status in government for decades to come.

And Donald Trump's policies are, by and large, eminently conservative. Trump has been driving the collective campaign arc, with respect to which policy topics receive emphasis, for several months now. He's demonstrated great leadership within the party and has great potential for national leadership as President.

Is he perfect? Certainly not.

But he's a red-blooded American businessman and leader who speaks his mind and eschews political correctness.

Can he rehabilitate his negatives?

I certainly think that Trump can rehabilitate his negatives much more effectively than Hillary can. Hillary Clinton is likely to be wearing an orange jump suit before inauguration day.

It also seems very likely that Donald Trump would be able to help create jobs in the private sector, improve our immigration policy, trade policy, even some foreign policy.

I see it; it might not comport perfectly with mine, but Donald Trump's "Patriot's Dream" would probably be a big improvement over what we have now. It would be a step in the right direction. It would be a step that might be palatable to the American People, as opposed to them being force fed a somewhat narrower, more stark and strident flavor of American "conservatism". That's the realistic likelihood, and the only alternative is Hillary Clinton.

At this point, I've concluded that it's both inaccurate and disingenuous to dismiss Donald Trump as a mere con-man or huckster, and to similarly deride his supporters. To do so is to needlessly boost the Establishment's propaganda and indeed is tantamount to rendering them aid in their goal of maintaining and increasing their power.

Regardless, I'm just astounded that Bill Bennett would write something like this piece about Donald Trump. He's obviously wandered off the Establishment reservation, which is a place I would have thought he'd be very comfortable on. Radical.

Let's not destroy each other. Go, Trump, go!

Given the hysteria and multiple daily anti-Trump columns and reprinted editorials from leftwing rags my local POS paper prints, they are urinating themselves silly over him.

Actually a bit funny, as so many of them were saying not long ago that Her Thighness would wipe the floor with him and he was the best opponent just for the comedy of it all.

Now they are in full panic that he might win and crush his enemies and see them driven before him.

It’s about the unholy dynamics between big government, big business, and big media. They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership, and it’s in all of their interests to protect one another. It’s one for all and all for one.

It’s a heck of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich, everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We’re the patsies. But for once, the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media, and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened.

I may be wrong, but was not Bennett part of that elite, and may still be? A small bit of hypocrisy here?

Newt Gingrich said much the same thing on the Hannity show yesterday. He said if Trump continues on, gets the nomination, and says the same things in the General election that he’s saying now, the Hard Left will become even more unhinged than they are now. He also said that fighting it, however difficult, is the only hope for stopping the path of slow decay and decline that we are on now.

It wasn’t an outright declaration for Trump, but it might as well have been. He thinks Trump is the only hope for taking back the country from the Hard Left.

After 64 years on this planet, I, along with tens of millions, realize that “plans” are just another bullshit tactic to get votes, and no GOP candidate ever carries out any of their “plans” anyway. As soon as they get elected they sale out the people. Almost every one of them.

Here are the “plans” I care about:

I want MY President to stand up for the U.S. against all enemies (and even some so-called friends).

I want MY President to respect our Constitution.

I want MY President to make sure we actually have a country by controlling our borders, and stopping and reversing the invasion of our country by foreign nationals.

I want MY President to rebuild our military and remove the LGBTXYZABC generals Obama installed and put hard core warriors back in charge.

I want My President to curb the EPA.

I want My President to curb the Labor Department.

I want MY President to curb the Education Department.

I want MY President to curb the Civil Rights Commission.

I want MY Presiden to curb the IRS and all other Federal agencies from making political attacks.

I want MY President to curb the Federal Communications Commission, turn the Internet back over to free enterprise, and take ICANN back from the despots of the world.

I want MY President to destroy ISIS.

I want MY President to halt common core.

I want MY President to institute voter ID nationally.

I want MY President to repeal and replace Obamacare.

I want MY President to start mining and burning coal again.

I want MY President to repeal ALL of Obama’s executive orders.

I want MY President to stand up for traditional American values and tell the PC crowd they can kiss his sweet behind.

I want MY President to revoke 99% of all regulations Obama and Bush promulgated.

I want my President to stop the attacks on Christianity in our country and stop pandering to the d@mn Muslims.

I want MY President to support ALL Federal laws equally and quit picking and choosing the ones he likes and doesn’t like.

I want MY President to stand up for Israel and tell the Palestinians to take a hike.

I want MY President to speak harshly AND carry a D@MN BIG stick.

I want MY President to bow to no foreign head.

I want MY President to shake the hands of no tin-pot communist dictators.

I want MY President to make appointments and promotions in our government based solely on merit, totally ignoring race, creed, gender, color and sexual preference.

I want MY President to stop all crony capitalism funded out of the U.S. Treasury.

I want MY President to audit the Federal Reserve Bank.

I want MY President to withdraw ALL Federal funding from sanctuary cities until they repeal their anti-American laws.

I want MY President to prosecute Hillary Clinton.

I want MY President to prosecute the Wall Street scum who operate our financial markets as their own personal, rigged casinos.

I want MY President to owe no quid pro quo “favors” to big campaign “donors”.

I want MY President beholden only to the people, not to the party apparatchiks or the oligarchs or the plutocrats.
