TED CRUZ DID NOT BLAME TRUMP FOR THE VIOLENCE IN CHICAGO. Period. Full stop.
. . . but when intimidation is exerted against the people who want to hear Trump - and when those people have a right to hear Trump and not, say, Hillary Clinton or any acolyte thereof, criticism of Trump is in that context, out of bounds. It is, at best, a half truth.

Trump has not made protesters comfortable in his venues. But they are his venues, for the duration of his events. The people who are invited want to hear him - not you and not me, him. Such people are under no obligation to be welcoming to interruptions. They need not be more civil than the interrupters. Trump has made that point, if not in those words. And political competitors of Trump do themselves no favors by going out of their way to contest that.

All in all, IMHO Cruz is the best person of offer for POTUS - but he made an unforced error when he said anything more than that it is illegitimate to disrupt other peoples’ events.

"He made an unforced error"

Maybe it could have been said better, but, I think this is being WAY over-exaggerated.

So did Trump make an unforced error when he said "They're going to do what I say" , about forcing the military to follow illegal orders?
