It is in the fiber of the Left to betray self. The Soviet commies made passionate speeches praising Stalin as Stalin lined them up to the firing squads.

The executions of the Cauczescus (or whatever their damn spelling was) or the denunciations of Stalin’s methods by Khruschev, or the firesquadding of Che Guevara, or the electric chair of the Rosenbergs, — were not causes for sadness.
