When will Ted renounce Romney’s involvement and comments beyond this?

Until then, he’s working for their agenda.

This constant talk of a brokered convention is absolute nonsense being constantly repeated in the news media. Brokered conventions, smoke filled rooms, and backroom horse trading at national party conventions ended about 100 years ago. We will most likely have a nominee even before the California primary in June. We will probably know who the nominee will before the end of this month.

If Cruz has no hope of winning after March 15 and he stays in, he is absolutely for a brokered convention. End of story.

Thank you Ted for not joining those who want to defeat Trump by stabbing him in the back. Thank you for sticking to the fair rules of the game even if you end up losing it.

I just hope at the end of the day Trump and Ted join forces. I don’t think either one will be able to win in the general without at least the supporters of the other, if not the other as the VP candidate.

Possibly because a brokered convention would result in Trump running as an independent. Yeah I know, he promised not to.

The GOP is very screwed up right now, and it has a lot more to do with Donald Trump.

That's right. It has to do with career politicians who are the real problem with the increase in the size and unconstitutionality of government. I'm coming to the conclusion that career politicians are per se corrupt because their political career is more important to them than the good of America and the American People. The more power for them, the better, but the worse for America and the American People.

D.C needs a steady influx of non-politician statesmen who love America and love freedom from government. One way of to accomplish this is a constitutional amendment requiring term-limits. I think it's time.

BS...He'll take everything he can get.

As he said in his 1988 video....His aspirations are: "Money, power...to rule the world."

And yet he made a deal with the GOP, Kasich & Rubio to not compete in Ohio and give it to Kasich in order to bring about a brokered convention.

Kasich says he will be the anointed from the deal, probably Kasich/Cruz brokered convention.

There are two kinds of brokered conventions; one legitimate and one a coup d’état.

If the candidates who arrive with delegates meet, or meet through their right-hand-men, and hash it out and horse-trade their way to an agreement (probably someone trades his delegates for a cabinet position), that is legitimate. The one who comes out on top is one of the ones in the race, who actually had enough support to be a player. He combines his votes with someone else with enough votes to matter, and the people are represented if imperfectly so.

A likely example would be if Kasich sold his delegates to Trump for a VP slot thus beating out Cruz. Or Cruz and Kasich teamed up to beat Trump. Whatever.

A coup d’état would be if the party bosses were pulling the strings, and pulled some kind of skullduggery to deny the presidency to either of the front runners. That would break the party. In that case you can expect Trump and Cruz to stand together. Actually, if there were any chance of that happening Trump and Cruz would probably combine forces for the good of the party and the country, because at the end of the day both of them are running against the party. Granted, Trump would only agree to such a deal if he is in the top position.
