But I'm sure there's an equal amount of very seasoned patriots who know exactly how to take this country back from a pendulum that has swung so far left. And they know that taking folks by the hand to help them cross the street back to the middle, much less the right side, is not an easy rough journey with a media that is a propaganda arm, and a tougher job when you don't have leaders with spine to take them on.
Swat away the growth of your party and you deserve to suffocate and die in the little corner you have painted yourself into. Americans first. Conservatives second. On top of that, if you want to help the kindergarteners graduate, then don't spit on them and ridicule them, instruct them.
In addition, you will never even so much as form a coalition of like minded people to govern in this nation to swing things in your direction if you are too obstinate to accept that not everyone thinks alike. And if everyone was thinking alike, I'd say someone is not thinking at all.
When I say "you", that means in general, whomever is reading, not you personally neccesarily. That's my two cents - which is probably worth more.
‘Does this mean you are opposed to bringing new folks into the GOP big tent and educating them? New patriots gotta start somewhere. Ridiculing them doesn’t help. Why not just say “your not welcome in this Party, we like to lose” (McCain, Romney, etc.) and never set the agenda?’
Bingo! Contempt for Trump is contempt for low info patriots who are unplugging from the matrix.
One great thing about this forum is that we can talk ‘inside baseball’. Sometimes the drive-by media tries to take my posts and claim Rush Limbaugh said them, and that just exposes how phony they are.
For those who might actually wonder?
I’m no Rush Limbaugh. He’s a patriot and statesman. Nor do I have a research staff. Just a laggy landline here. Text only.
I had the priviledge of driving my mother to primary here in Virginia. It’s been a long time since I saw her so giddy. She’s a Trump-o-holic. But that’s no surprise.
The shocker is my dad.
He was a second generation yellow dog democrat. It took me a long long time to talk him out of it. Then he turned to Ron Paul after four years of Obama. He’s now all-in for Trump. And he is TICKLED PINK that Trump turned against the GW Bush Doctrine. I just sit back and am glad I no longer carry that old baggage.
