The volume and extent of the Trump trashing today, the eve of Super Tuesday, has been beyond over the top. I perused the various networks, CNN, FOX and all the usual suspects including the print media, WaPO, NYT and web sites such as HuffPo. They are pulling out all the stops and saying as many negative things as they can about Trump. It hit me late in the afternoon that the day seemed like one big paid political ad from the MSM, including FOX. Some of the people actually looked like they were going to blow a gasket.
Watched Megyn Kelly and she continues the David Duke/KKK mantra as have all the other suspects in evening prime time. Trump adressed this issue last Friday, but no, they can't let it rest. It seems it's been on every hour all day.
Rubio has gone all in with his comments with some pretty bizarro accusations. Cruz has been fairly civil in his criticisms but still attacking Trump pretty hard.
Talk radio is not immune. Beck talking about Trump and making references to Hilter. Even Levin going over the sequence of the Duke/KKK thing repeatedly. Hannity did say he was really pissed off at Rubio and seemed to express he thought Trump was getting a raw deal today.
It seems to me this is the last ditch effort to derail Trump with the undecideds or just keep people home.
Couple the TDS with ignoring Cruz and the lovefest with Rubio, it's enough to make you want to pull your hair out.
Is this the sample of what we are going to see in the general election?
I know few people here watch Fox much anymore, but I was flipping radio channels on the way home...
Did I hear Gov Abbott questioning the faith of not only Mr Trump but also that of Rev Fallwell?
I thought that was verboten in the Cruz camp...
That’s harsh/s
The best way to deal with all the mudslinging against Trump is to mock it. ;-)
A Pope moment. We know how that hurt Trump.
And kittens too.
Grumpy cat = Trumpy cat ?
LOL
Great post
I’m hoping.
The onslaught against Trump today was stunning. I don’t watch the TV news, but I read about it. Today was so bad on twitter and other sites I visit that I had to step away. The MSM and GOP have lost their collective minds over his prospects. I have resolved to vote for Trump if I have to crawl over broken glass to do it.
Yup, and I think people on the fence will 'come to Trump's defense' so to speak. They're seeing the MSM kick him senseless and they don't like it. (except the Donald is not senseless, he's saying bring it on!)
Forgot she ended she group saying a die hard Democrat told her he was voting for Trump.
Thats in Rock Hill SC. We drive past it all the time.
A great place. Still free, mainly conservative and lots of great people.
Now a thought came to me a few minutes ago on Trump and the KKK controversy.
Trump disavowed Duke and the KKK thing at Friday's Press Conference and at least two or three rallies over the next two days. SO he was already on the record for that.
I am wondering if Trump flubbed that interview with Tapper on purpose knowing it would cause a stir but guaranteeing him total news coverage to the point of drowning out Cruz and Rubio.
As Trump said in The Art of the Deal, good publicity is always preferable but bad publicity can work also.
He knew no one was going to believe the crap about Duke and KKK, he was already on record and he may gambled that the Backlash against the media piling on would work in his favor.
In short is Trump the Grand Chess Master of Three dimensional chess and the Machiavellian of all time? Did he just play the MSM and they fell for it Hook, Line, and Sinker? Something to think over.
He’s not desperate. He just *really* wants to help that poor Nigerian prince.
I betcha' the behavior of the MSM, and especially today, will contribute to record-breaking turnout tomorrow. People are Mad as Hell and all we can rationally do is Vote.
It's the Ballot Box or the Cartridge Box. We're doing all we can to contain ourselves and stick with the Ballot Box. If this whole process gets hijacked. . .
As far as Fox is concerned I am down to Fox Business, I like Lou Dobbs, Stuart Varney, Charles Payne and some of the ladies. As for Fox News, no more and I really watched much in years.
