The volume and extent of the Trump trashing today, the eve of Super Tuesday, has been beyond over the top. I perused the various networks, CNN, FOX and all the usual suspects including the print media, WaPO, NYT and web sites such as HuffPo. They are pulling out all the stops and saying as many negative things as they can about Trump. It hit me late in the afternoon that the day seemed like one big paid political ad from the MSM, including FOX. Some of the people actually looked like they were going to blow a gasket.
Watched Megyn Kelly and she continues the David Duke/KKK mantra as have all the other suspects in evening prime time. Trump adressed this issue last Friday, but no, they can't let it rest. It seems it's been on every hour all day.
Rubio has gone all in with his comments with some pretty bizarro accusations. Cruz has been fairly civil in his criticisms but still attacking Trump pretty hard.
Talk radio is not immune. Beck talking about Trump and making references to Hilter. Even Levin going over the sequence of the Duke/KKK thing repeatedly. Hannity did say he was really pissed off at Rubio and seemed to express he thought Trump was getting a raw deal today.
It seems to me this is the last ditch effort to derail Trump with the undecideds or just keep people home.
Couple the TDS with ignoring Cruz and the lovefest with Rubio, it's enough to make you want to pull your hair out.
Is this the sample of what we are going to see in the general election?
As far as Fox is concerned I am down to Fox Business, I like Lou Dobbs, Stuart Varney, Charles Payne and some of the ladies. As for Fox News, no more and I really watched much in years.
I’ve been watching the trump bashing the last couple of days and came to the same conclusion a lot of others seem to. The liberals, media and GOP are all scared sh&tless and desperate to derail Trump no matter what it takes.
I’ve heard “how to stop Trump” in various incarnations at least a dozen times. Megyn Kelly spent 45 minutes of her show trying to get everybody she could find to trash Trump over David Duke and the KKK. (I’m just listening as I surf).
I missed Oreilly, but Hannity had Trump on and was not trying to do a hit piece, the people on the morning show have always been pretty fair to him, and I missed most of the daytime, pretty much tired of hearing it.
I’ve never had much doubt, Trump is my #1 choice, Cruz would be an acceptable second, everyone else can go home. You couldn’t pay me enough to vote for Hillary, if Rubio ends up somehow getting nominated, I’ll have to stay home.
What we’re seeing is desperation, plain and simple. nothing the GOP has done so far has even put a chink in Trump’s armor, Cruz and Rubio together did very little, Trump looked like he was exasperated and swatting mosquitoes.
And Trump still sets the narrative. As I said from day one, expect the GOP to do something underhanded, even cheat, they see their gravy train growing wings. Cruz rocked the boat as a senator, but Trump flipped it over and threw the paddles away. Expect trhe GOP to cheat, lie, anything they can think of.
And they expect Trump to support their candidate...he’s the obvious nominee it looks like, so why aren’t they supporting him?
Whatever you do tomorrow, get out there and vote. Tell these slimeballs what we really think. My voter registration card is out on the table waiting, all I have to do is walk across the street. Literally, the polling location is 50 yards from where I’m sitting. I’ll be there...to vote against the lies and corruption...
OMG, a Wow proposition. You know, part of me thinks Trump is so good at The Art of the Deal, that his Tapper response may have been second nature to him. . . Almost as if he wasn't even thinking about it. Even if he was, and it was his intent, it was a stroke of genius. He owned the media today, even if it was TDS.

I think you may have nailed it. This guy has skills and I can’t wait to watch him use them on Clinton.
I hate being reactionary, but...I am a busy person. This is easy. Hillary or Trump/Cruz? Gee, I don’t know...I just don’t know...

There are reasons a reasonable person could vote Cruz over Trump, but the fact that the alphabet networks look like slavering, bug-eyed, spittle-lipped lunatics in their attempts to paint Trump as the second coming of Hitler just makes Trump a more viable choice for me.
The screechier the left gets when they see Trump’s face, the more they make me think he has to be the right choice.

Amen to that. The Republican Party has laid bare the notion that they are entitled to pick the nominee and don't get in the way. They were more subtle about it in years past. Not this year. The "We pick the Nominee" meme is in our face.
We say No and we'll go to the mat so We the People pick the nominee. . . The Whole World is Watching!
Get out the vote everyone! Pick up Granny or your neighbor in the wheelchair,. . . do what you can to Get Out the Vote and make this the biggest Super Tuesday in the history of these United States!
I get that but I have a tinfoil Lord Nelson hat and the Goldman Sachs thing has bothered me for 2 years. Would I vote for Cruz if the Trump scenario goes tits up? (no, not British) For sure.
Totally agree. You know, another factor that may be going on with the MSM TDS is the left and the MSM are starting to realize that Trump is conveying, "I'm just gettin' started. You ain't seen nothin' yet!" and "Hillary, I haven't even started on her yet." I think they realize with this movement gaining more and more steam every day, that the outlook for Hillary is not good!

This is very frightening that the media and the powers that be are so unhinged, but more importantly, they are dismissing and dissing the voting citizens from be able to decide for themselves who they want elected.
If they - take your pick on who they are, get their way with all this BS full frontal lying attacks, which results in taking a candidate down then are we still a free country (because it will continue)? Now that’s scary. That may be the most important reason besides the wall to vote for Trump.
I believe it will not hurt Trump. Especially when people learn that Duke himself says he has not endorsed Trump and doesn’t know where the media got that from.
So going back to Friday when the lie was told to Trump that Duke ‘did’ endorse him on behalf of the KKK, it’s obvious the attack on Trump was coordinated to set the stage for an anti-Trump media blitz the day before Super Tuesday. Gawker even joined in by gleefully admitting to a ‘gotcha’ campaign against Trump that finally saw success when Trump retweeted the Mussolini quote they have been sending to him since Dec.
Trapper said that ‘other white supremist groups’ had endorsed Trump. As far as I know, there’s aren’t dozens of ‘white supremist groups’ running around the country. (I’m actually surprised the KKK is still around.) So, maybe Trapper can name the groups he claimed were also endorsing Trump. Or was that also a lie meant to intentionally mislead us folks who ‘need to show humility’ for being non-minority (says Hillary today)

Read somewhere, I think it was a reporter that was on his plane that Trump doesn't much discuss things with people and there was like this almost weird deference to him, like don't rock the boat. He said he didn't see many compadres, advisers discussing things with him. If that's true, needs to change ASAP plus he needs to elaborate his platforms better on his stump speeches. Everyone has heard his usual boilerplate speech. Change it such as 1. Healthcare: 3-4 elaborate paragraphs with specific details, goals, etc 2. National Defense: 3-4 elaborate paragraphs with specific details, etc. I know he likes to 'wing it' and all, but he made need detailed notes and my need to read very detailed plans. He can still extemporaneously elaborate, but stick to his written points.
And finally, someone should tell him to stay off the childish/pathetic exchanges with Rubio/Cruz. Let them indulge in stuff like that all day long and act like the grown up. He is leading and should act like it and grow up.
I agree. Part of me says he knows this but does it anyway to take up the news cycle? A lot of people getting tired of it already, and we're not even fighting Hillary yet.
on Hillary? HotAir article says it could be months, and then Lynch will put it “in review”. Which I think is government speak for circular filing it.
