It could easily have been something like a breath mint. I would imagine it gets very hot under those lights, and it is difficult to speak when your mouth gets dry. If not that, it was probably a beta blocker. Many speakers and musicians use them to combat shaking and breathlessness when under stress. Beta blockers don’t cause any unwanted effects, like hyperactivity, drowsiness, or impaired cognition, and they are very effective at removing visible signs of nervousness.

He sure did and,since Cruz and Rubio opted to give Trump a taste of his own childish medicine, Trump has acted like a ten year old “victim,” intent on exacting revenge. Funny how so many here dismiss a man who has a solid conservative record, has in depth understanding of the issues, articulates conservative principles better than any candidate in the race and, in addition to his strong conservative credentials, he also has an appeal to more moderate and independent voters. Oh yeah....I know...he was a part of the “Gang of Eight” senators who attempted to craft a bi-partisan framework for immigration reform a few years ago. It seems, for many, he should be excommunicated from conservative ranks for trying to bring as many conservative conditions into that framework as possible, despite the fact that liberals were in the driver’s seat in congress. All I know is that I seem to be witnessing the disintegration of the GOP, as many angry Republicans are willing to cast their votes for a narcissistic loose cannon who will likely carry on the trend toward bigger and bigger government rather than attempt to curtail its expansion like than Cruz, Rubio or Carson would. All I can say is, be very careful what you wish for.
Yeah, right, and Donald Trump will “fix” the GOP so that the Party becomes the party of smaller government and respect for the constitution, right? I think not. Yes, the GOP needs to regroup, but believing that Donald Trump is the guy to lead the way makes absolutely no sense to me. Not only is he not conservative but he’s so completely caught up in his own self-image, everything else takes a back seat. Do you really think that would cease to be the case if he manages to become President?
Natural Cuban Rubio is Constitutionally ineligible to serve as President. Support for his presidential campaign is tantamount to treason.

Wow! Thanks for that! That was my father’s favorite joke. I’ve told it to my grandsons. They are at the age that anything about “poop” is funny. One of them wanted to know if that is how I got so smart.
