Bernie Sanders says Uber's employees are treated unfairly, so why does his campaign use Uber for 100% of its taxi rides?

Bernie Sanders has criticized Uber for not having the same government regulations, worker protections, and employee benefits as regular taxi companies.

However, public campaign records show that Sanders’ campaign has actually used Uber for 100% of its taxi rides.

I would love to hear Sanders explain his hypocrisy.

Yea. I had it figured at about $8-$10 per hour with a max of $12. That said, there are people who make a somewhat decent living doing it, but I’m not going to be in a car 16-18 hours a day dealing with drunks, vomit, rude passengers etc.

Yes, that’s about the work hours. And you have to pay for all damages to your car. Still, I suppose it’s better than nothing.

New drivers get a lot of work thrown at them for about one week. Then it slackens off.
