“Trump wants to stop TPP...”

See now here’s where I think we differ in our view of our preferred candidates. I’m under no illusion that any human being is perfect, and I’m willing to readily admit that Cruz made a mistake originally supporting TPA and he was mistaken last year when he supported raising the number of H1B visas. I also think his campaign has made some mistakes — the tweet Rick Tyler sent out about Rubio being chief among them. And Cruz fired Tyler for that. But because Cruz has differed with me on a few positions, I’m not willing to say that he’s a con artist, fraud, whatever other names you want to call him. He’s been wrong on some things, but I still maintain that he’s the most conservative candidate in this race.

Now contrast that with Trump. When we try to point out his countless inconsistencies on substantive issues, some as recently as just a couple years ago, his supporters scream back by calling other candidates names and essentially insisting that Trump can do no wrong, he’s winning everywhere, etc. etc. Not even an acknowledgement that he MIGHT have shifted positions a few times, that there MIGHT be some valid reasons why some of us are more than a bit concerned about how he might govern. It’s just nothing but the same tired laundry list of oppo research trashing the other guys in the race.
