Might be good to store a small LED flashlight in or on the First Aid Kit so you can use the kit in the dark. Also, you won’t have to search for a light.

In cases of an EMP a flashlight like that will not work. I keep a light stick in them for emg. cases & I have back up light sources stored in metal storage containers around the house & camper for the grid down situation that I am looking at. Also use wind up or shaker type, or solar powered spare lighting for these.

Better is one of those head mounted flashlights.

You can see what you are doing and it leaves your hands free.
