Very true and the determination of “illegal” will be where the slow down takes place. Once determination has been made, off they can Go.

The deportation process is an Executive Branch action. Indeed, the Executive Branch has insisted in litigation that it is not a Judicial Branch matter. The Immigration Judges reside in the Justice Department and they are the ones who make the decisions on deportation. Therefore, it is uniquely an Executive Branch action and controlled by the President through the Attorney General.
