Special Forces not ready to integrate women

In this time of forced austerity on the United States Military, special operations are being effected by financial cutbacks placed on training. The community has to contend with "training challenges" which are impacting its ability to successfully perform missions. Training is a vital element to an effective combat unit. Obama's transformative cutback of the nation’s defense will dull the razor's edge-the Special Force community.

In addition to diminished training time, Special Operations Forces (SOF) are dealing with heavy rotation schedules in the war on terror. SOF has been in country in Afghanistan since shortly after the 9-11 attacks. They have been conducting counterterrorism training and occasional raids. Army Gen. Joseph Votel, SOCOM commander, told congress: "We are a force [which] has been heavily deployed over the last 14 years, and our military members, civilians and their families have paid a significant price, physically and emotionally, serving our country."

Though budget cuts and manpower reductions obviously have a negative impact on military readiness, the SOF has also been effected by the social engineering practices of the Obama administration. The SOF budget was cut five years ago and there will be no relief from the Washington Establishment for the remainder of Obama's term. There has been too much emphasis placed on input from the Nintendo warriors who will never get their uniforms dirty sitting in an air conditioned office thousands of miles from the action.

A biased Pentagon-sponsored survey by the Rand Corp estimated that 85 percent of the SOF community oppose integrating women into SOF teams. Nearly 90 percent acknowledge that physical standards will be lowered for missions, a social experiment guaranteed to get people killed.

Women cannot be integrated into the combat forces. Women become added poundage in the gear that the men must carry.

Leave the military. The government and a majority do not want you there. Build your faith further and ready yourself for whatever God wants you to do. We will have to suffer great loss and invasion before voting minds change to do something.

I’m a girl, and I farm with my husband and work in a refrigerator factory in my free time.

Even with all that, even if I were in my 20s, as a reasonably fit and strong woman, I still can’t keep up with the guys.

My sons have been outworking me on the farm since they were 12, 13, 14 ...

If you are going to let unqualified women into the special forces, why waste money on training?
