Agree.
That is because AGW is built around bogus science. AGW has never been the issue, it has always been all about control.
Hell!!!!!
This could be an AWESOME money making scam!!!!
Sell double panes “Greenhouse Gas” windows!!!!
Fill them up with CO2 and sell them and also the fact that technically you are “sequestering carbon” as well, you can sell them the “carbon credits” too!
Also if one breaks you have to send in a special “disposal team” (that charges out the nose) to help contain the “dangerous greenhouse gas”
Just think of all the upper class urbanite dough one could “sequester”...
This is not going to be an effective challenge as while CO2 is not poisonous to humans - as it is part of the air we breath. However in high concentrations (such as escaping from a plastic bag or honey comb like chambers in a rigid plastic or other material... a leak or sudden outpouring of the CO2 gas would cause it to be dominate in the air mix and could lead to unconsciousness and even death in humans and pets - simply because it replaces the O2 in air.. This argument would be thrown back at anyone who posed what the article does... This would work in a similar way even if the gas were Nitrogen another major gas found in air.
Seasonal lake turnovers in Africa and other places has caused huge releases of CO2 gas to come rolling into villages - killing the entire population in a few hours..
And - Please note - I firmly believe that AWG is a totally bogus scam ... And that any Climate Change is a natural occurrence ...
It’s well known that carbon dioxide absorbs and holds heat. It absorbs heat at three wavelengths in the IR spectrum. It is twice as good an insulator as air. What a corny article.
That said, global warming is a bunch of baloney.
Greenhouse gases do not work the same as the thermal insulators used in houses.
Insulators prevent the flow of heat.
Greenhouse gases absorb thermal radiation from the ground and heat up. They radiate heat back to the ground and up into space. They thereby reduce the total percentage of heat which is radiated to space. They are not claimed to totally block thermal radiation.
The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is equivalent to a 10.5 foot thickness of pure CO2. Surrounding your house with this much CO2 would reduce heat loss compared with a bare house, but not as much as a much smaller thickness of normal insulating materials.
If CO2 absorbed infrared radiations significantly more than air, then the CO2 greenhouse should show a higher temperature. (The way a black surface absorbs more sun light and gets hotter than a white surface).
The most likely reason it doesn't show any significant difference is because the peak absorption area for CO2 occurs at a wavelengths outside the area where most terrestrial radiation is emitted. See figure below.
Good this being reported from Europe.

I was excited for a moment. I would for a sealant manufacturer and thought that if they were pumping gas into the building cavity, imagine how much our air sealant sales would increase.
