Well, two days ago I vowed that the two Fords my wife and I now drive will be the last, EVER! Now this pops up. If this announcement turns out to be TRUE, and not a perverted hoax, I will certainly reconsider. But one thing is for sure. I’m not buying or driving some POS junker made in Mexico.
Do a little research and you will probably crap when you see how many vehicles and parts are made in Mexico for American manufacturers.
Our 2009 Honda Accord has more American made parts and is assembled in Ohio with non-union workers. The only part made in Japan was the engine and sometimes the transaxles depending on the supply of American made units. Honda used to make the Goldwing motorcycle there also but shut the line down when demand fell off. They have made it perfectly clear from the beginning that if the plants went union they would move out.
