Can it be that âThe Donaldâ is already affecting American policy, without even yet being the Republican nominee?
It sure looks that way, or perhaps itâs just coincidence. However more likely than not, Trumpâs constant bashing of Ford moving to Mexico, has apparently been making ripples both within the news media and perhaps among the voting public.

This story is not true.
Oh ? Heck
THERE IS NOTHING IN THAT STORY THAT CONFIRMS THE HEADLINE. THIS IS 100% NOT TRUE. ITS BOGUS.
Gee, no wonder Mrs. K.C. calls him President Trump. LOL
I read a while back that Ford had reached an agreement with the Union to keep “part” of the Production Line in the United States.
Don’t remember the details, so I can’t say it had anything to do with Trump publicizing the issue or not.
Do a little research and you will probably crap when you see how many vehicles and parts are made in Mexico for American manufacturers.
Our 2009 Honda Accord has more American made parts and is assembled in Ohio with non-union workers. The only part made in Japan was the engine and sometimes the transaxles depending on the supply of American made units. Honda used to make the Goldwing motorcycle there also but shut the line down when demand fell off. They have made it perfectly clear from the beginning that if the plants went union they would move out.
Trump’s blowing smoke. Ford is still planning an expansion in Mexico. http://www.wsj.com/articles/ford-to-more-than-double-mexico-production-capacity-in-2018-1454857923
Use the power of the purse when it comes to companies like Carrier.
It is called Dixie Chick em.
It makes them just like a regular page but eliminates all the pop ups etc. The network news station pages are the same way - lots of ads, take forever to load, etc. and it gets rid of all of that. Easy to set up too.
Yes. I’m aware. Stuff like Colgate toothpaste; which I will not use. But those things are entrenched in Mexico. The best way to “bring something back” from Mexico, is to head it off and keep it from going there in the first place; such as this $2 Billion Ford plant, which, by God’s grace and Trump’s chutzpah, appears to be staying here, in Ohio. And with a bit more of God’s grace, and Trump’s statements against them, we might have the happy outcome of Carrier AC staying put in Indiana.

Thanks. Just loaded it on my phone.
“How dare Trump use his millions of supporters to bully the freedom of an American business.”
Keeping jobs in America and America’s economy strong is one of the main roles of government. Trade should be managed in the country’s best interests. I’m not talking about the government’s best interest, I’m talking about the citizens’ best interest.
