Which is why prepping in the long term is probably useless.
They can’t confiscate the fish I haven’t yet caught, the dove, squirrels, rabbits and wild hogs I haven’t harvested.
reality.
kids go to college and come home brainwashed
their heads will survive.
i dont need your permission to procreate. too late anyway.
Mom took me to the Saturday matinee the following weekend. That book and movie changed my life and outlook.
There are ways to protect yourself from confiscation. I doubt it would happen here but then you never know. Some local catastrophe might be cause for the ‘attempt’ at confiscation but I would not like to consider the consequences should a pseudo group of ‘government officials’ come tapping on the door requiring you to give up necessities you’ve harbored for your own survival. That would happen I guess if Bernie Sanders won the WH.
No, but they’ll have the military or whatever out there doing that before you could get at them.
Not necessarily. If things really went wrong in a big way, a large segment of society would die off fairly quickly. Think of the bell curve.
Same thing that happened to Burma in Asia.
Before W.W. II Burma had a thriving oil industry and agricultural industry. They supplied oil and rice all over Southeast Asia.
After the war the socialists took and the reverse happened. Burma had to import food and even gasoline.
They have never recovered.
You had excellent parents.
It's better to run out Food BEFORE you run out of Toilet Paper IMHO.
Lucky for us we still have the LA Times, New York Times and Washington Post print editions as a backup.
The Paper Stock they use is a little rough and you'll end up with an A$$ darker than Obama’s from the Ink, but you have to use what you have to use.
Does Maduro go without food or toilet paper? The answer should answer the question “is socialism good for me?”
Same here!
:)
somebody told me not to have kids lol.
lead by example.
when they come home from college smug @####s, the wall works.
According to Diario las Americas, Maria Gabriela Chavez, 35, the late presidentâs second oldest daughter holds assets in American and Andorran banks totaling almost $4.2billion. Somehow I believe she has found some toilet paper.
The real problem was corruption at the top. It was corrupt and breed great resentment from the voting population. As side note I should explain it was crony capitalism which is also endemic here in the United States and explains why Bernie Sanders is popular. Socialists and Marxists never win elections without legitimate grievances against the ruling elite. Once a Marxist wins an election all subsequent elections mean nothing as they count the votes.
The corruption in Venezuela led to the election of Chavez an avowed Marxist but he did not run as a Marxist. He ran as a progressive, just like Bernie Sanders and Hillary. His first election was legitimate and he really did win. The people were angry with the corruption in government.
Chavez may have won his reelection but it is very doubtful. His appointed Marxist successor has not won any election. He is President due to election fraud.
Venezuela will never be a free democracy via the ballot box. If it is ever free again, it will be because of men and women with guns in their hands that say this will not stand.
The future of Venezuela will be great bloodshed if democracy wins. Otherwise it will be a slow gray grind to socialist despair of which a great people become naught but naught and of no value to the state least what they can do for the state and thus are naught.
“They can’t confiscate the fish I haven’t yet caught, the dove, squirrels, rabbits and wild hogs I haven’t harvested.”
If TSHF and you need to harvest wild food, you’ll be joined by 10,000 others in your area, most of whom are ignorant of woodscraft, hunting and the handling firearms. At least buy a case of beans and a bag of coffee and hide it under the bed. You’ll thank yourself for your wise prescience.
I think they already did that to the food hoarders
Reading Mila 18 by Leon Uris changed my life at 13 years old....
Made me realize evil is a real thing and alive and well...
I buy my children (six) on their 16th birthday both Mila 18 and Atlas Shrugged...with a nice incentive to finish both...
Of course, I could just put my kids head to the wall....that normally works so well.../ S
Only if you never built within them the basic fundamentals of reason and logic...
Of course some will be permanently brain washed until mugged by life...
