Bush denies, but....
Yesterday, we talked about how it appears Jeb has seen the writing on the wall. It seems pretty clear that the Bush campaign is headed for the end, and only a miracle in South Carolina will save them. No candidate says âI should stop campaigning, maybeâ unless theyâve already realized thatâs the case.
Now we have further confirmation that this is the case. According to a piece (also published yesterday) by Erick Erickson, the Bush campaign has burned through hundreds of millions, has less than $15 million left, and will stop paying its staff on Saturday.
Well check the source of article. It IS from Canada.
“Bush can hang until FL....but he wonââ¬â¢t win there.
And that may be too embarrassing for the Family to take. There are other, younger, Bush children in politics... “
A sickening thought, indeed.
Meanwhile Mike Murphy is swan diving into his loot pile like Scrooge McDuck.
I’m sure Trump will cry foul over releasing this rumor before an election.
George P got picked up and charged with Peeping Tom
Never in human history has so much been squandered by so few for an office that was so little wanted by an ex-governor.
For whatever there is left of Bush voters, they will flip to Kasich first, but actually the GOPe is about to go full tilt for Rubio. Case in point, Nikka Haley who is a lieutenant in the “stop Trump at any cost” army. So they even now trying to get in touch with any potential Bush voters and tell them “to vote for a uniter like Rubio, and not a divider like Trump” and how Rubio “builds bridges”.
It is amazing how may bridges they are trying to sell us.
Rubio will probably gain a bit. Also, I predict, those who have become hard core Trump haters who hate the Republican base will start to actually support Rubio and the GOPe once they figure Cruz is toast. Why? Because they are now so brainwashed at this point and so full of the little green man and all sorts of conspiracy theories in their head, they would rather support Rubio simply because they now hate Trump because they have lived in the “hate Trump” toilet too long and will never accept the choice of the Republican base. Some like Rush for example, will probably have to go full tilt for Rubio just to save face, you watch. They will also turn on the Republican base as well. But they do not have the numbers to make any difference. Because Trump would crush either Hillary or Sanders in a Trump wave in the general, Trump doesn’t need the votes of a small number of whiners and losers. If Cruz loses South Carolina, it is only going to get harder for him as this is probably the last state where he might have some impact level support but it sure looks like he has lost S.C. to Trump, so from that point on, unlike some previous elections, he is toast. So S.C. is going to be Cruz’s “judgement day”. He has to win, or basically he is going to fall behind Rubio. Second place isn’t good enough unless Cruz is within 4%. That is probably not going to happen, we will soon find out tomorrow night.
I have little doubt, any candidate of the top tier, Trump, Rubio, and low tier Carson, Kasich, can and WILL defeat either Hillary or Sanders in the general - except Cruz. What will happen is, all the background of Cruz’s father, those in the upper echelon of his campaign which is heavily under the thumb or religious cults and who define “conservative” as only being member of their minority sect, and which is more of a religious brigade than a political movement but using political lingo as chameleons, all this will come out in the media 24x7 and the American people will reject Cruz in a big way and Cruz will be massacred in the general election. Losing the Presidency will be bad enough, but the Republicans will also lose the Senate and a good number of seats in the House. Cruz would be a very, very bad candidate once the cultism/Beckism/Jews must be converted-ism for Jesus to return-ims/stuff comes out. Beck said some nutty stuff about how God killed Scalia so that America will “wake up” and vote for Cruz. This is all going down as a bad piece of funny smelling raw sushi as far as Americans are concerned in the general.
When did that happen?
I may need for the future, when the Cabal tries fostering that turd on us...
His campaign ended many weeks ago, in reality.

) George P. Bush might be a hunkalicious young Republican, but he still seems a bit creepy. So TSG wasn't too surprised to learn that "P" was involved in a troubling 1994 incident described in this Metro-Dade Police Department report. On December 31, 1994, Bush showed up at 4 AM at the Miami home of a former girlfriend. He proceeded to break into the house via the woman's bedroom window, and then began arguing with his ex's father. Bush, then a Rice University student, soon fled the scene. But he returned 20 minutes later to drive his Ford Explorer across the home's front lawn, leaving wide swaths of burned grass in his wake. Young Bush avoided arrest when the victims declined to press charges. (3 pages)
But you would at least know some shame for blowing through the rest of it in 8 months and not even have a lousy t-shirt to show for it.
Just google it. One of many small skirmishes with the law.
We could have saved him so much money if he had taken our advice.
Four or five months months ago he could have gotten out, paid a mere meellion in consulting fees, saved face, and a hundred million dollars.
He could have saved 99 cents out of each dollar!
I’ve also got less than $15 million, that’s why I dropped out of the race back in June.
I wondered about this when Weiner stayed in his race till the end even knowing at the outset that he had NO chance. It turns out that if a candidate stays in the race till the end, (s)he gets to keep the campaign donations.
Ain't no way to win with only 35 million
To buy the votes I'd need at least a Billion
Chorus
Oh Mamma tried
and I lied
but the people just weren't satisfied
I've got the Campaign finance Blues.
I'd sell me truck,
but it's brought me luck
I've got the Campaign finance Blues.
Chorus
Oh Mamma tried
and I lied
but the people just weren't satisfied
I've got the Campaign finance Blues.
I was the joyful tortoise
but folks said you just aren't for us.
Now I'm singing the Campaign finance Blues.
Chorus
Oh Mamma tried
and I lied
but the people just weren't satisfied
I've got the Campaign finance Blues.
Please clap.
I still laugh when I think of GHWB's comment at the 1988 GOP Convention when he blurts..."that he adores "little brown ones"" (i.e grandchildren)
