With a shotgun??? I don’t know much about guns, but I thought rifles were standard when hunting deer. Would a shotgun bring down a deer?
Firing a shotgun or deer rifle from the cab of a truck without protection will make your ears ring for a long time, if not forever.
Did they check to make sure the driver had the proper Commercial Drivers License?
The thing I don’t get is why they call someone who kills a deer a “Poacher”. Deer are like rats — they are everywhere. These guys may have done something illegal and, uh, stupid (with alcohol involved, most likely) but poaching?

Sounds like something my dad's uncle would have done in northern Michigan back in the 50's and 60's, only we call it "shining deer".......Uncle Al lived out in the boonies in a small town called Glennie and he was a known poacher, drunk and fighter.......In fact he was found dead lying in a snowbank at his mailbox with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. I hate people like these. Confiscate their truck, guns, driver’s licenses, fine them thousands, and throw them in jail for a year. And yeah, I know it’s probably not their truck. Imagine what their boss will do when his truck gets confiscated.
