The buzz is that everyone is at risk for contracting the mosquito-borne Zika virus. Why not? Since the successful effort to âdemocratizeâ HIV/AIDS in the 1980s as a threat to everyone, everywhere, every major disease outbreak has been presented as a worldwide threat. (Ebolaâs gotten that treatment three times now.)
But no. Despite admonitions from the public health agencies and headlines like the Washington Postâs âWhy The United States Is So Vulnerable to the Alarming Spread of Zika Virus,â and despite President Obamaâs request to Congress for $1.8 billion to fight the disease, Zika has little chance of spreading from person to person in the U.S. And even in countries where it is a real concern the threat has been exaggerated.
Never taunt Happy Fun Ball.

Follow the $$ and see where it goes, apparently this guy has no idea of how American politics work.
One thing we know, Is that South America only has it self to blame for the Zika Outbreak. Basic Mosquito control programs could have kept the virus in check.
Zika is not coming here except in people that got skeeter bit elsewhere and can be eradicated elsewhere with relatively cheap application of DDT.
