Geronimos family was killed by Mexicans, not the USA. HIs mother, wife and kids were killed. He had an absolute vicious hatred for Mexicans. Mexicans killed a lot of Indians, if you look at old maps of the USA almost the entire half of the west was taken over by Mexico, and the Mexican government use to pay a $25 bounty for an Apache scalp, but of course you’ll never hear about that because only the evil white man from the USA killed the Indians.

There’s a good rumor that Bernie Sanders and Clinton too are going to ask for reparations to black Americans.

DO people understand that there were a large number of blacks in the South who owned slaves?

But people, like in your example, don’t like the truth.

Keep in mind that Mexicans were as well “evil white men”. They just happen to be from Spain instead of England.

***the Mexican government use to pay a $25 bounty for an Apache scalp,***

Another thing you never hear is that many scalphunters hired by the Mexican Government were often Shawnee Indians.

I came upon that in several books many years ago.

According to Earl Stanley Gardner, who often traveled in Mexico and wrote several books about it, the last battle between wild Apache Indians and the Mexicans was in, believe it or not, 1939.
