Tonight Donald Trump had a rally in Beaufort, SC, and while on stage, he repeated his campaignâs earlier fabrication where they attributed a quote to Senator Tom Coburn that he never said.
The fake quote was identified and debunked by Jake Tapper, it was written about at multiple sites including here, and the offending Tweets were deleted; surely an admission of guilt. Even so, some two or more hours later, Donald Trump went ahead and repeated it and pretended that it was true in his ongoing effort to dishonestly smear Ted Cruz as, get this, dishonest.

Do you think âbuild the wallâ is liberal? Just curious. How aboutâ bring our jobs backâ ? You donât like that. Ok, How about â Support our Vetsâ . That is outrageous to you ,right? How about âBergdahl is a traitorâ ? Wrong!! right? What is a clearly stated position that Trump takes that you viscerally hate so we can find out what you really are. Speak UP!!
I can provide links to everything I posted here. But even if you heard Trump admitting it with his own mouth with his hand on a stack of Bibles, you still would not believe it. Facts are irrelevant to you.
Whatever.
It’s the political season, lines have been drawn.
Well, shouldn’t the candidates bring it up?
I mean, if its true?
Wow, you can’t make a coherent argument, so you are reduced to mindlessly repeating hysterical accusations against anyone who disagrees with you.
You think they haven’t and won’t? That is the problem with sticking your fingers in your ears whenever someone says something you don’t like - you get a distorted picture of what people are saying.
They all say that too.
If you know more about Trump than they do, would not you
consider that a serious flaw in their campaign?
Maybe you should sign up to be the official fact checker for whomever.
Maybe it is a calling?
Ted calling someone a liar. lol
You don't read and comprehend well, do you? As I said, just because you have a "hear no evil" policy with regard to Trump doesn't mean these things have not been brought up by others.
Hmmm? Seems to have missed the debates. I guess they cannot hear it either.
Well, if your candidate cannot hear what you hear, it all seems kind of pointless for you.
I find it ironic that Trump repeated a known lie in order to call Cruz a liar. Trump is the king of liars.
Just a quick Google search can answer your questions...
Cruz didn’t lie. He was not the one who said Carson was dropping out. On top of that, CNN was the source of the rumor that Carson was dropping out.
I don’t have any questions for you.
If those on the debate stage cannot bring up your questions then you have to consider the fact that they don’t have them either.
“Is Jeff Roe paying you and your ilk to come here and spew this stuff endlessly?”
Don’t know who Jeff Roe is. But I’ve been posting here for 18 years, and paying regularly for most of that time, and I’m sick of Trump-worshippers.
Interesting how you call CA conservative a liar, then confronted with links and quotes showing where he got his information from, you turn it into “Well why aren’t the other candidates talking about it?”. How the heck should we know! The truth is - CA conservative was stating the truth.
Well - except for the VET street sellers. He didn’t post a link for that!
Oh - but here is one:
“While disabled veterans should be given every opportunity to earn a living, is it fair to do so to the detriment of the city as a whole or its tax paying citizens and businesses?” Trump wrote in a 1991 letter to John Dearie, then-chairman of the state Assemblyâs Committee on Cities.
âDo we allow Fifth Ave., one of the worldâs finest and most luxurious shopping districts, to be turned into an outdoor flea market, clogging and seriously downgrading the area?â Trump demanded.
New Yorkâs original peddling exceptions for veterans date back to 1894 â created to give those disabled during the Civil War a chance to support themselves.
In 2004, when the regulations had come up for renewal, Trump piped up again. He complained in a letter to then-Mayor Michael Bloomberg that the ambiance of Fifth Ave. â the address of his gleaming Trump Tower headquarters â was being wrecked by peddlers, including some he accused of only posing as vets.”
