Trump now has senators sitting on his face, to his great pleasure.
The man is incapable of speaking the truth.
Trump has been doing that for weeks on the Iowa situation where the Cruz camp rushed out with a breaking news story that ended up being false. If the Trump camp wants to claim that sending out a false tweet isn’t a big deal then at least they have to quit harping about Iowa.

patq would gladly be called a dwarf, rather than the turd beetle that he is.

What Coburn did say:
Former Republican Sen. Tom Coburn said Thursday night that his former colleague Sen. Ted Cruz’s rhetoric and failure to deliver on promises is creating a “Cruz effect” that leads the public to have less confidence in Congress’ ability to do its job.
“I call it the ‘Cruz effect,’” Coburn, who retired from the Senate in 2014, told Sirius XM host Pete Dominick. “Look, when you tell people you can accomplish something that you can’t, for example, shutting down the government over the Affordable Care Act. When, in fact, you promise people in your speeches and your talk that we can do this, and by dinghy, we’re gonna get rid of the Affordable Care Act, and all we have to do is shut down the government.
“Well, that’s one thing to tell ‘em that,” the former Oklahoma senator said. “It’s a whole other thing to be able to accomplish that, and build a coalition that once you shut it, that it doesn’t get opened up ‘till you win.
“So what happens to that is, once you’ve told people that, and you’ve put your finger - ‘everybody that doesn’t believe exactly like I believe, you’re not a patriot, you don’t care about the country’ - what you do is you create greater disappointment in the hinterlands, because you gave them a false hope, knowing that you couldn’t accomplish it, but it was about yelling, and screaming, and waving the flag,” he continued. “And so what happens is, there becomes less confidence in the Congress and its ability to do its job.
“You know, I came out of the Senate with one of the most conservative ratings ever in the history of the Senate. You know, it was like 98.8% in terms of conservative,” Coburn concluded. “And yet, I compromised all the time to accomplish things that were good for the country.”
Fake but accurate BWWAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA.
.
Your imagination comes from the cesspool.
Cruz has been straight up on every issue.
That is why you hate him.
You are a lover of the lie.
.
Lol exactly.
.
There is no truth whatsoever in Trump, from beginning to end.
He is the perfect counter-part of Cruz, who has been completely truthful on every fact.
It is all coming apart for Trump, who thought everyone was as intellectually slothful as he is.
No cigar donnie boy.
.
Obviously, you do not know me. Name calling should make you feel very superior.
Good evening....
You Trump supporters are incredible. I am awestruck at the mountains of evidence of his behavior, and yet you condone every instance of Trump's sickness. Donald Trump repeated this word for word of this slander tonight in his town hall, and you still say he didn't say it?
And guess who DID say this? It was originally taken from Allen Clifton at ForwardProgressives.com. Trump repeats a nasty progressive and says a conservative Senator from Oklahoma said it. Nice bit of slander, there.
tRump is a LIAR
Fake but accurate? Isn’t that already taken?
Why, yes, the person who says a quote does matter. Trump is a liar - plain and simple.
.
If the story was false, it was crafted to be false by Carson.
Carson sent his main man to Cruz to inquire if Cruz would cover his debt if he dropped out.
Then Cruz, upon hearing the story that Carson planted with CNN, easily believed it.
It was all Carson’s doing.

austinaero’s morals are just as fetid as Trump’s.

re: Senator Tom Coburn on Ted CruzPosted by jturn17 online on 2/16/16 at 2:53 pm to Junky
This is a really dishonest comment.
Tom Coburn didn’t say what they’re quoting him to have said.
Trump is retweeting what his staffer tweeted from a website article, which said that Cruz is dishonest and in that article, it talks about comments that Coburn said from this article.
quote:
WASHINGTON-Former Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., on Thursday night accused Sen. Ted Cruz of stymieing Congress with divisive rhetoric and irresponsible promises.
Coburn, who retired in 2014, railed against Cruz and his allies’ insistence on tying conservative goals to must-pass government funding legislation, risking a shutdown. He called it ‘the Cruz effect’ in an interview with Sirius XM host Pete Dominick.
‘When you tell people you can accomplish something that you can’t, for example, shutting down the government over the Affordable Care Act,’ said Coburn, ‘you create greater disappointment in the hinterlands, because you gave them a false hope, knowing that you couldn’t accomplish it, but it was about yelling, and screaming, and waving the flag.’

So, you attempt to corral Springfield Reformer with this obvious, viscious lie:
.
>> “It was necessary to choose between two very diverse candidates to whom I was attracted; one a Southern Christian Evangelical as am I and the other a Yankee blowhard that naturally repelled me...until I heard the blowhard deliver consistent messages on several occasions over a period of time and the Evangelical allowing his workers to do wicked things repeatedly without ceasing over the same period of time.” <<
There is not a shred of evidence of even one instance of Cruz’ staff doing anything wicked.
I see an abundance of evidence of you posting wicked attacks against all conservatives, the above being about average for your record.
.
.
Gee harley babe, we all know how Coburn has no spine and has never taken a stand on anything beneficial to the American people, so his objection to Cruz’ strong, principled stands comes as no surprise, but what is the reason for your post?
Could you be trying to provide another false attack on the very honorable Senator Cruz?
I agree with you. I just meant that the story ultimately turned out to be false. My point was that the Trump people can’t have it both ways. Either they have to admit that Trump and Cruz are both human and mistakes will be made by their campaigns in the heat of battle. Or if they want to insist on calling Cruz a liar over Iowa then Trump is a liar for allowing his campaign to send out a false tweet without even bothering to verify the quote.
He (Trump) reminds me of the Clintons-always accusing everyone else of what he is actually doing.
IMO- The very last thing this country needs is a Republican Clinton.
Such a person isn't going to repair any of the damage our nation has suffered, and would likely make the situation even worse.
We need someone who understands and can explain why our Constitution is what makes us great, and why we need to uphold its principles. That is the only way out of our troubles.
The best person, the one EVERYONE fears because he will uphold our Constitution- is Ted Cruz.
Rush Limbaugh says Cruz is the closest we've had to Ronald Reagan in our lifetime , and that if Conservative principles matter to you-Cruz is your only choice.
That FReepers on this supposedly conservative sight, are trashing Ted Cruz, and pushing long time Clinton buddy, Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Rahm Emmanuel supporting, and I guess we can add, 9-11 truther, Trump- is both bizarre and depressing.
I pray for my country. I pray that Ted Cruz will be our next president. Our nation needs him.
