It’s OK, ES. I’m not easily moved once I’ve studied a matter. I’m convinced Cruz is doing his best to do what is right. All the accusations against him that I have examined for myself have proven baseless, either understandable errors or good faith differences of opinion or total non-issues.
I really wish I had more time. I could build up one of those rapid deployment posts debunking all the accusations. As it is, I’ve had to focus more on the legal issues, especially eligibility.
Anyway, R2Z, you have to decide according to your conscience. I think you’re wrong about Cruz, but I respect your right to make your own choices. Just make sure you’ve investigated deep enough to get past the propaganda. There’s a lot of it this season. And of course I wish you and yours all the best.
ES, good to hear from you again. Especially in a matter where we so heartily agree. :)
Peace,
SR
So Cruz is the only dirty tricks player in the game!
There goes Trump, lying again, as usual.
Yet he’s still repeating it.
There was a picture of the tweet on another thread. I saw it.
It was from Tramp.
Donald Trump, serial liar.
And how do you propose to get rid of the Unaffordable Careless Act? Cruz was leading the fight to defund it, which would have rendered it unenforceable. The RINO Establishment wasn’t willing to do anything to oppose it.
BTW, after that “shutdown” (of 17 percent of the government), the Republicans increased their margins in the House and took over control of the Senate.
That’s typical Trump.
Trump has been inconsistent on virtually every issue.
Can you back that up?
I know Cruz did give Walker some help with his campaign debt.
Excellent comparison.
They increased their numbers, but they didn’t get rid of ObamaCare.
There’s a youtube of Coburn saying these things. You can see that old Tom Coburn, everybody’s consistent conservative, was hurt when he left and many conservatives were claiming that he wasn’t even a conservative.
His gripe with Cruz was that Cruz promised people they could get rid of ObamaCare when Cruz knew that it wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, that it depended on override numbers.
Coburn’s right about it not getting past Obama. No matter how long they held out of funding the nation, Obama would not have permitted them to get rid of his signature accomplishment.
Nonetheless, I wanted to see them try. I wanted them to flush out everyone’s vote. At one level, I just wanted them to fight a little.
The only way we’ll get rid of it is a conservative president, a super majority in the senate or a majority with a leader willing to use a nuke option.
That can’t be an actual tweet.
.
All I needed to know is the crap you posted.
.
I definitely did not mean to say that I thought you easily swayed by such a crudely crafted and obvious piece of Concern trolling. :o)
.
So far, no one has been able to identify so much as one “dirty trick” played by Cruz, nor his staff.

Who did Carson’s managers go to work for after they left him?
