To hear some conservative elitists tell it you would think that to be considered a true conservative you need a special handshake, secret decoder ring, and a notarized certificate stating your conservative bona fides in triplicate. The truth is much simpler.
The traditional political spectrum runs from Big Government on the left (liberal) to limited or no government on the right (conservative). If you favor limited or no government then you are a political conservative, period. For example, today we would call Henry Thoreau a political conservative.

Neither Cruz or Rubio are NBC’s. It would be litigated and they would lose. The USSC is not 5 to 4 as of this weekend. The only choice would be the governors.

Polls 9 months out about hypothetical match-ups are fairly worthless. How many polls from last May are accurate now? Show me one poll from May 2015 that will accurately predict the SC results this week and I will start worrying about what polls taken now say about November.
Everybody but Cruz and his fans understand that Cruz is not NBC American. Obama was also born to one US citizen parent. Obama’s mama was a US citizen just like Cruz’s mom. As I understand it, the whole Obama birth controversy was people trying to prove he was born outside the US because he would not be eligible for the presidency if that were true. Cruz was not born in the US and he is no more eligible than Obama would be if it could have been proven he was born in Kenya. On a positive note, maybe Cruz will show us the face of God this week!
So, then, I expect the Trumpettes to stop posting primary poll numbers. Thanks. Please spread the word.
I do not control what other people do. I personally promise not to post poll numbers for any hypothetical election results 9 months in the future.
