Coming hot off his win in New Hampshire -and with a significant amount of his time devoted to South Carolina- itâs little surprise that Trump is 16-17 points ahead. It appears that the only demographics that Trump isnât currently winning are 18-29 year-old voters and self-described âvery liberalâ voters, who prefer Rubio and Kasich, respectively. Evangelists prefer Trump to Cruz by a margin of 10 points â a significant change from Iowa, where Cruz led with evangelical voters by four points.
When respondents were asked of their second choice for the nomination, Rubio and Cruz command the first and second spots (within 2 points), with others trailing closely.
The poll was conducted for the Augusta Chronicle, Morris News Service, and Fox 5 Atlanta.

Cruz can’t get past 1/4, so what’s your point?
If Trump pulls off another stunner here, then why would it not be over?
If it were reversed and it were Bush, the party operatives would be secretly calling everyone telling them to accept the obvious and unite the party.
If TRUMP wins South Carolina, we need to begin an email/telephone/tweet campaign to our representatives and senators asking them to call for the party to unite behind Trump.
Melt the lines after SC.

Crushing numbers for Cruz:
“Very Conservative”: Trump 33.8, Cruz 33.1
“Somewhat Conservative”: Trump 38.3, Cruz 10.1
Women: Trump 35, Cruz 17
Black: Trump 35.5, Cruz 20
So it is Ted’s pac doing the push polls. Ted can honestly say HE is not doing it but knows full well it is being done on his behalf.
His pac did the same thing in Iowa. One of the questions was about New York Values. Sound familiar?
“So I guess Bill Krystaide super secret mysterious poll from the magic land of fairy gumdrops and gingersnaps.....was a bit off?
Krystaide lives in the Gope faux conservative fantasy plantation. Bill is one of the plantations most elite liar/bser overseer.
“error in judgement (hiring a former softcore porn actress for his ads)”
I don’t approve of porn, but this seems like a ridiculous complaint.
What sensible person would try to make an issue of that?
The problem is Cruz is in the evangelical/televangelist hard right box. He does well with very conservative voters and horribly with everyone else. That’s not the path to victory.
This Overtime Politics poll is a CRUSHER for Cruz:
Trump leads very slightly among “very conservative,” leads huge among “somewhat conservative,”
Leads among combined 18-44 age (trails Rubio slightly in 18-29)
Leads huge among women, blacks.
Leads among evangelicals.
Trump +17%. :-)
Now a big BEN CARSON is anchored with Cruz.
Yet he is slightly losing the “very conservative” and evangelicals . . . in SOUTH CAROLINA.
To a NEW YORKER.
IN SOUTH CAROLINA.
Trump got over 1/3 in N.H.
At least one recent pole had him at 40% in S.C..
The pole this thread is about has him over 1/3 in S.C.
Seriously if your going to lie, don't do it on a thread that clearly refutes what you are lying about.
That is interesting. I did not know those important facts.
That is interesting. I did not know those important facts.
Cruz is getting about 1/3 of the evangelist vote. Then 1/3 to Trump and 1/3 to everybody else. The only place you win with that coalition is Iowa. Cruz is Santorum 2.0, IMO.
Also, many people don’t realize that South Carolina is a completely OPEN primary. Republicans, Independents, and Democrats can all vote.
And let me tell you, South Carolina democrats are often more conservative than New Hampshire republicans. Trump has a YUGE pool of conservative and moderate voters to crush Cruz.
Bill Kristol was long ago outed as a moron.
Now you have insulted morons.
Kristolade is a sneering/lying elite bsing thug working for the GOPe Open Border thugs trying to keep us down on the Faux Conservative Plantation and to only vote for their hand picked GOPe approved candidates like Jebe/Rubot.
Thanks for finding that. ;)
âEvangelists prefer Trump to Cruz by a margin of 10 pointsâ
“This is the important part.”
This part means, Game Over! :)
